Nicki Minaj Performs Remy Ma Diss Track At 2017 NBA Awards

3 days ago, on June 27, Nicki Minaj joined Drake and many other A-listers during last night’s NBA Awards, where she performed the perfect Remy Ma clapback medley of No Frauds and Swish Swish because if there’s one thing we learned from the karma QWEEN Katy Perry, it’s to always keep your receipts. Lol. This is why I do not like Nicki Minaj and all those other stupid junk music like Justin Bieber because junk music like radio are damaging mainstream music and trash real mainstream music like Vanessa Carlton and Natasha Bedingfield. Why, junk music, why? I want my real mainstream music like rock music, popular music. Anyway, let’s move on.

What a week it’s been for Nicki Minaj, who took the first-ever NBA Awards by storm last night, demanding all eyes on her during a mashup of her greatest diss tracks, with the assist of 2 Chainz. Nicki Minaj arrived on a throne, naturally, held high by her dancers to which she and 2 Chainz performed verses from their Pretty Girls Like Trap Music hit Realize, just before she switched gears to her Remy Ma-shade cut of No Frauds and transitioning into a verse from Katy Perry’s Swish Swish, and I can just smell the sweet revenge…

Many were quick to assume her performance was a response to long-time rival Remy Ma, who dissed Nicki Minaj after breaking her winning streak during the BET Awards, but for others, like Houston Rockets star James Harden, the performance was hardly a diss track, and more-so just an awe-inspiring moment, as seen from his hilarious reaction to the show…

And CUE the internet memes, that began rolling in after the camera panned to James’s completely mesmerized facial expression after she took the stage in a sexy cleavage-bearing bra and matching white shorts. Some of my favorites being this one, saying, “Find someone who looks at you the way James Harden looks at Nicki” and “James Harden looks more focused here on Nicki Minaj than he was in game 6 against the Spurs lmfaooooooooo”.

But the biggest honor this week, and possibly one of her biggest career milestones to date, came just yesterday when she was honored with the key to the city of her hometown in Queens, New York, by borough president Melinda Katz for her “outstanding career achievements in music.” Again, I do not like Nicki Minaj. Her songs like Superbass sucks. Iggy Azalea is better. I'll take Iggy Azalea over Nick Minaj any day. Anyway, let’s continue.

The Anaconda rapper shared a photo of her new piece of hardware on Twitter writing QUOTE, “This is a #MajorKeyAlert I just got the #KeyToTheCity #ProudQueensGirl Thank you #MelindaKatz Queens Borough PRESIDENT” and follows in the footsteps of many other rappers who have also inherited the keys to their hometowns including Fabulous, Drake and Big Sean.

On June 25, BET has aired The 2016 BET Awards. Then, 4 days ago, Remy Ma beats Nicki Minaj’s winning streak and disses her at the BET Awards, but is that why does she skipped the show this year?

Remy Ma and Nicki Minaj’s beef continues thanks to some serious shade Remy threw at the Trinidad born rapper during her BET awards acceptance speech. It looks like people don’t respect adults and stick with kids because kids dominated North America people and adults like parents was SLAMMED by North America capitalism. Ooh. Poor adults. I guess capitalism are anti-adult jerks. But this is not I’m looking for. In fact…

After winning Best Female Hip Hop Artist at the BET Awards for the past seven years in a row, Nicki Minaj lost to none other than her rap nemesis, Remy Ma as the All The Way Up featured rapper took to the stage and after giving a heartfelt thanks to BET and her husband Papoose, she proceeded to quote some lyrics from the song Spaghetti, which was definitely a not-so-subtle diss aimed at the Anaconda hitmaker.

Nicki Minaj and Remy Ma have been throwing shade at each other ever since Remy Ma released the diss track Shether earlier this year, which she then followed up with the song Another One. Nicki Minaj responded to those tracks with a few shots at Remy on the song No Frauds featuring Lil Wayne and Drake, as well as on her latest collab with Katy Perry, Swish Swish.

So is Remy Ma breaking Nicki Minaj’s winning streak the reason the Only rapper decided not to attend the show tonight? According to a source at HollywoodLife.com, avoiding all the Remy Ma drama was definitely a factor that played into her decision. The source claimed QUOTE, “Nicki has no desire to deal with her enemy on any level...Nicki has decided to skip the BETs this year for several reasons. Avoiding the drama and headache of reigniting a feud that might come with bumping into Remy is just one of them. And besides, she’s a very busy lady with a performance at the NBA Awards scheduled for Monday.”

So it sounds like we’ll just have to wait and see if Nicki Minaj hears about Remy Ma’s BET diss and chooses to respond, then I bet Nicki Minaj is gonna have a meltdown.

Iggy Azalea Calls Halsey “Moron”

Hey guys, sorry for the lack of new articles since June 13. So…

Halsey made some not-so-nice comments about Iggy Azalea in a recent interview and the rapper is firing back.

Halsey, the Australian rapper heard your words loud and clear and now she’s got a thing or two to say to you.

It all started when Halsey talked to The Guardian about her latest collaborator, Quavo. The rapper, who is featured on Halsey’s new single, Lie, was under fire earlier this year for his homophobic comment about openly gay rapper iLoveMakonnen and how his credibility is shot because of his sexuality.

While that comment stirred up quite the controversy, it doesn’t seem like the singer, who is very passionate and proactive when it comes to LGBT issues, was too bothered by it.

Halsey basically said told the outlet that she thought Quavo’s comment was misunderstood. The Now Or Never singer went on to say that she understands not every artist is going to be politically correct and that she can’t necessarily police everyone.

HOWEVER, when the interviewer told Halsey that she can technically control that on her own record, the singer agreed and went on to say, QUOTE, “There’s a lot of people I wouldn’t put on my record. Iggy Azalea: absolutely not. She has a complete disregard for black culture. F(bleep)ing moron. I watched her career dissolve and it fascinated me.”

Well, days later after that quote made the rounds on the interwebs, it was the Fancy hitmaker’s turn to speak. The rapper opened up about the drama on Kent Small’s Smallzy’s Surgery show and instead of dragging the singer, she took a more different approach to the matter.

She said QUOTE, “It’s a bit weird to bring someone up in an interview that you weren’t asked about…I don’t know her, I’ve never met her or interacted with her in any capacity so I thought it was a bit of strange thing to kind of throw that out there. But she’s young and you know I hope she kind of learns maybe to be a bit less judgmental when she’s kind of in the same shoes.”

Woah, sounds like Iggy Azalea doesn’t like Halsey at all. I guess adults don’t like each other because people really despises adults and stick with kids. Blame capitalism for being anti-adults jerks and stick with kids these days. Anyway, good for Iggy Azalea.

Selena Gomez Teases Bad Liar Film On Instagram

Selenators, the time has come...

The anticipation is real after Ms. Selena Gomez posted three consecutive Bad Liar posters on Instagram that are clearly made to look like movie posters.

Now then, I made it clear. I just wrote the comments, "Selena Gomez is so hot. I'm going to smell Selena's butt because Selena's butt is hot. Yes, she has a nice butt." Well, OK. Sure Selena Gomez is pretty damn hot and Selena Gomez has a nice soft butt. You know everyone have a butt. Even Selena Gomez has a butt. That's why everybody have a butt. But this does not mean for Selena Gomez's hot body or her butt. I was trying to say is... Woah, Selena Gomez is posting a new film that has a 2017 single, Bad Liar, tomorrow? Well then, count me in.

Anyway, the poster credits Jesse Peretz as the director who is known for directing and producing episodes of Orange Is the New Black, Girls, Nurse Jackie as well as several music videos for artists including the Roots and the Foo Fighters. In other words, if it is a long form music video, the pop star enlisted the right person to take it on. Making the advertisement look even more like a movie, the credits are listed at the bottom along with an R rating and the words – “Coming Soon.” Selena captioned the first post – “Wednesday,” followed up by “Coming soon,” and “#Badliar – a film.” Seeing that, fans started to freak out more than they already were with many now speculating that Selena is about to drop an actual movie. Currently there is already a “Bad Liar” music video available on Spotify but we’re assuming that it is different from what Selena is promoting now. But there is a slight chance the posters could be just to advertise the widespread release of the already preexisting video. Knock on wood that it’s not. Some fans are thinking, the posters could be for a horror film starring Gomez seeing as though she recently mentioned that she wanted to make a horror film again.

Naturally fans flocked to Twitter to voice their reactions with crying and balding memes to show that the anticipation from these new advertisments has their wigs snatched. One fan wrote – “I’m dying” along with a meme showing a kid dialing 9 1 (insert f word here) 1.

Another said – “ya’ll better stream the video.”

Followed by someone going with the horror film possibility saying– “Selena will release a movie Wednesday and she will probably play a psychopath YES I’M LIVING.”

New Lana Del Ray Album For Lust For Life Release Date Confirmed

Hey everybody, just to let you know that does it matter of fact…

For weeks Lana Del Ray fans have been wondering when her new album, Lust For Life, will be out. Rumors circulated that it might be out this Friday, on May 26th. Some major publications even presented this as the actual release date, despite no confirmation from Lana or her team. But now we can finally lay those rumors to rest.

Sadly, Lust For Life was not available on May 26th. Instead, the album will be released on July 21.

It’s only one month away. However, the pop singer did say she wants to release a few more songs before the album is out. Perhaps the wait won’t feel too long.

So far we’ve gotten two singles from the upcoming record. Love debuted back in February, and more recently we got Lust For Life, Lana Del Ray’s latest collaboration with The Weeknd. Last weekend, Lana Del Ray also performed a new song called Cherry that will appear on the album.

Last month, she also released a song called Coachella – Woodstock In My Mind, although it may not be included on Lust For Life.

Other songs expected to be on the album include Yosemite, Tomorrow Never Came featuring Sean Ono Lennon, Beautiful People, Beautiful Problems featuring Stevie Nicks, God Bless America, and Best American Record. Though we know a handful of song titles, we’re still waiting for the full tracklist to be announced. We only have the album cover art for now:

In addition to that, Lana Del Ray also teases 2 new songs, one of them featuring ASAP Rocky. Lana Del Rey has been slowly building up hype for her upcoming album, Lust For Life. The record will be out next month on July 21st. Though there’s still six weeks to go, she promised she’d let fans hear a few new songs before the album finally drops. And she kept her word: Today Lana Del Ray shared two new song previews.

The first clip is a song that features A$AP Rocky, Playboi Carti, and Boi-1da. We don’t know the title for this one yet, but she does mention wrapping you up in her daisy chains.

The second song may not appear on Lust For Life. Entitled Roses Bloom For You, it’s one of Lana Del Ray’s favorite songs that didn’t make the final tracklisting for her new album. She wrote the song in March with producer Rick Nowels.

We will count down the weeks until we finally get to hear Lust For Life on July 21st. Cool, I can’t wait for Lana Del Ray’s Lust For Life album on July 21st. Let's hope Lana Del Ray gets more attention in the general public.

Katy Perry Opens Up About 96-Hour Live Stream During The Release Of Witness

This morning, Katy Perry discuss her 96-hour video on YouTube during the release of her new album, Witness. So far, the album went to number 1 on YouTube in more than 40 different countries. She was also on track to reach a record of 100 million Twitter followers during her 4-day continuous YouTube live stream. With the release of Witness, Katy Perry has to promote it by setting up cameras in her LA homes to give fans a glimpse into her life in a 96-hour live stream on YouTube. The pop singer tells Natalie Morales about once harboring suicidal thoughts and wanting to be her "authentic self."

Fifth Harmony Throws Sexy Hotel Party In Down Music Video

OK, it appears that Fifth Harmony has released their first music video as a group of four for their newest single, Down, and yesterday, it’s got every bit of that 5H flair we all know and love. So far, the music video was on YouTube and Vevo yesterday and so far, the music video gained more than 3 million views on YouTube. Wow, talk about why music videos gained a lot of views only appeal product branding and sex and music videos gained a lot of views don’t respect real popular music like country and rock. I guess junk music and celebrities is the safest way to go and don’t respect real popular artists like Jewel and Michelle Branch or real popular music like pop rock. I guess times change because music don’t like evolution or moving forward and internet only appeal capitalism and social media. They don’t go on the internet for fixing the businesses or diversity like rock music. This is why I hate today’s North America. All today’s North America does these days is repeats like kids and capitalism. Today’s North America don’t respect diversity like adults and positives. Stupid kids and technology these days for ruining North America. OK, rant over. Let’s talk about Fifth Harmony’s Down music video.

They may be lacking their fifth member. Sorry Camila Cabello. But in their newest music video, Fifth Harmony proved that NOTHING can hold them down.

If you try and think for a ‘mediocre’ Fifth Harmony music video (I hate Worth It and Work From Home), well, you probably can’t. They constantly keep us on our toes with the top-of-the-ling choreography, guest appearances and the HOTTEST outfits we only wish we could pull off. So when the girls released their highly anticipated new single Down just last week, we knew it was only a matter of time until their music video would soon follow. So, if you’re ‘down’ to check out the finished product, the wait is finally over.

The new music video, which features an appearance by rapper Gucci Mane, also features Normani Kordei, Lauren Jauregui, Ally Brooke and Dinah Jane Hansen breaking it down in a motel parking lot as they each head into separate hotel rooms, where things start heating up. Each decked out in two piece outfits, furs that are most likely faux, and sexy body suits (I hate sex selling music. I want my evolve is popular in the mainstream back, business.), the new foursome look hotter than ever, and as promised, they prevailed and delivered one heck of a gosh darn comeback. I would say that I’m loving the fact there’s no Camila Cabello in this group this time and Camila Cabello-less Fifth Harmony is a step forward. Plus, Ally Brooke is smoking hot. But I hate product banding and sex. Product branding and sex is ruining music. All music does these days is radio and celebrities and people watching music videos these days only appeal overseas and kids. That’s all people watch music videos online does these days. It has to be product branding and sex and it must be viewed by other places in the world and North America kids. No matter North America people like North America adults don’t like North America people watch music videos online because people watching music videos online don't like diversity like Avril Lavigne, pop country and mainstream rock and stick with sex/product branding/radio/celebrities/pop/fun/overrated/repeats. Stupid kids and overseas. Let’s continue.

In their statement back in December of last year when Camila Cabello decided to part ways with the group (Ha! Take that, Camila Cabello), Fifth Harmony wrote, “We are four strong, committed women who will continue with Fifth Harmony as well as out solo endeavors.” This is why Fifth Harmony is a small group, not a big group and yet, their music videos gained so many views on Vevo. Now that’s goods support. I can’t wait for more Fifth Harmony and smaller pop stars like Selena Gomez and Ariana Grande gets to make more music video where they gained a lot of views on YouTube and called them evolution or moving forward. That way, they are better than big pop stars like Taylor Swift. Sorry big singers like Beyonce. Small singers like Demi Lovato and Fifth Harmony ftw.

Now then, as you may know that 8 days ago, on May 29, the victims of the Manchester Arena attack are being honored all around the world.

Harry Styles and Miley Cyrus are just a few of the many musicians who paid tribute to those who fell victim to the deadly Manchester attack 2 weeks ago.

It was a deadly attack that shook the world to its core. Not long after a horrific terrorist attack left 22 people dead and many more injured at Manchester Arena, a number of celebrities showed their support for the victims via social media. However, some musicians took it one step further by dedicating songs and shows to the people of Manchester.

Also, on May 30, Ariana Grande announces Manchester Benefit Concert Lineup including Justin Bieber on June 4. That’s 2 days ago. I didn’t make that article at the time. So luckily I’ll recap right now.

Celebs from all over the world reached out in support of the Manchester victims, and now they’re coming together to spread the love in the best way possible.

The news spread like wildfire the night following Ariana Grande’s show in Manchester when 22 innocent lives were taken due to a horrific terrorist bombing, and now the pop singer has taken matters into her own hands to raise money for the victims and their families, as she announced last week in an emotional post on social media that she would be holding a benefit concert to raise money for the victims who attended her show and their families.

It has just been announced that Ariana’s benefit concert “One Love Manchester” will take place on Sunday, June 4th at Emirates Old Trafford in Manchester, where Ariana will be performing, along with a full lineup of many artists also in support of the cause, including Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Pharrell Williams, Coldplay, Niall Horan, Take That and Usher.

100% of the show’s net ticket proceeds will benefit the “We Love Manchester Emergency Fund”, established by Manchester City Council and the British Red Cross following the attacks, and tickets are set to go on sale this Thursday, June 1st at 10 a.m. British standard time. Ariana is also offering free tickets for fans who attended the Manchester show on May 22nd if they register before this Wednesday at 4 p.m.

It was previously reported that the R&B star would be attending the city “sooner than later”, according to Greater Manchester Police Chief Ian Hopkins, who also revealed QUOTE, “When the idea of the concert came up, the first reaction was we need to speak to the families of the victims and see what they feel. It is fair to say that the majority of them are very much in favour, although there are some that clearly aren’t and that is absolutely understandable.”

She also promised fans she’d continue to spread love via music in her heartfelt statement released four days after the bombing that read QUOTE, “Music is meant to heal us, to bring us together, to make us happy. So that is what it will continue to do for us.”

And on that note, she is also set to continue her Dangerous Woman tour next month, because, as she also bravely stated, “We will not quit or operate in fear. We won’t let this divide us. Anyway, Demi Lovato candidly reveals why she’s not on the lineup for Ariana Grande’s Manchester Benefit Concert.

And it’s a pretty simple, yet awkward, explanation.

“One Love Manchester” is taking place Sunday June 4th in Manchester, England to benefit the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund. Stars featured in the lineup include Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Niall Horan, Pharrell, Usher, and more. But a major pop star supporter absent from that list is Demi Lovato.

May 30th when the concert lineup was announced, a fan posted a photo of the lineup on Instagram asking, “@ArianaGrande why will not (@ddlovato) participate? She sent beautiful messages of support.”

Another pop star immediately saw the message and commented with her honest explanation writing briefly QUOTE, “Cause I wasn’t asked”. When Demi Lovato commented, the photo only had 8 likes and 3 comments so it was easy to notice the pop star’s blunt message.

When the terrorist attacks occurred at Ariana Grande’s concert on May 22nd Demi Lovato was quick to write on Twitter, “Tearing up imagining innocent concert goers losing their lives.. praying for everyone and all #arianators.”

And over on Instagram Demi Lovato shared a photo of herself hugging Ariana at an award show and wrote: “I’m so sorry you had to go through this Ari.. This isn’t fair and nobody should have to go through this. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the victims. I love you so so so much.”

It appears that she was one of the first celebrities to pour out her prayers and love online, so being excluded from the benefit concert consideration is a bit awkward.

On the brighter note, Ariana Grande's Manchester Benefit Concert sells out in MINUTES. Holy cow, that’s a whole lot of gosh darn tickets selling out in minutes. Anyway, music’s biggest stars are all coming together for this weekend’s One Love Manchester benefit concert.

In the face of tragedy we’re seeing love prevail as victims and artists alike are joining forces.

Days after a terrorist attack killed 22 people and seriously injured over 100 more at Ariana Grande’s Manchester Arena concert (as I mentioned earlier), Ari has pulled herself together and invited her famous friends to sing at a benefit concert this Sunday, June 4th. The One Love Manchester show went on sale at 10am local time at $52 bucks a pop and by 10:06am it was sold out. Ticketmaster released a statement saying it "was unsurprisingly met with remarkable demand for One Love Manchester tickets… 140,000 fans were on the website and our call center was buzzing. With over 450,000 searches on our site for One Love Manchester over the last 24 hours, demand was always going to be extremely high." Don’t worry though guys. People who were at the original show got free tickets to this one. Or at least that’s the intention, but the company is having a hard time validating third party ticket purchases. So some fans have had to pay twice. What’s worse, some are reselling their tickets for 10x the price. Which just isn’t cool to profit from a show that isn’t meant to profit anyone. The benefit concert is expected to bring in around $2.6 million which will then be donated to the Red Cross' Manchester Emergency Fund and benefit the victims and the families affected by the suicide bombing. The pop/R&B star herself called every pop star in her IPhone and asked them to join the roster for the show which now includes- Justin Bieber, Black Eyed Peas, Coldplay, Miley Cyrus, Niall Horan, Little Mix, Katy Perry, Take That, Usher, Robbie Williams and Pharrell Williams, with perhaps a few surprise guests. Now then, off to Sunday’s recap.

OK, let’s talk about Sunday’s recap. So far, Peirs Morgan apologizes to Ariana Grande, saying he “misjudged” her after Manchester attack and praises her One Love Manchester benefit concert. Then, she rocks HUGE ring and sparks Mac Miller engagement rumors.
