Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington Dies At Age 41

Parkymons, yes I know that’s the name of a Linkin Park fan, Parkymon. Anyway, Parkymons, I have some sad news...

On July 20, 2017, a devastating day for the lead singer of Linkin Park, Chester Bennington’s family, friends, and fans, as it was discovered the Linkin Park singer took his own life on Thursday morning.

TMZ reported that Chester Bennington’s body was found at his residence in Palos Verdes Estates in LA County on Thursday morning. The singer had hung himself and his body was discovered just before 9AM.

At the time of his death, Chester Bennington was 41 years old and married with 6 children from 2 different wives.

The rock band’s lead singer notoriously struggled with drugs and alcohol for years, and had previously admitted that he had considered committing suicide in the past because he had suffered abuse as a child at the hands of an older male.

As Linkin Park’s lead singer, Chester Bennington helped the band reach huge commercial success with their 200 debut album, Hybrid Theory. The band has had a string of hits over the years, including Faint, In the End and Crawling. They collaborated with Jay Z for the EP “Collision Course”, which produced the hit mashup, Numb/Encor”. The band's most recent album, One More Light, topped the Billboard 200 earlier this year.

Chester Bennington was very close with fellow rock star Chris Cornell, who also committed suicide by hanging in May of this year, and Chester Bennington even wrote an open letter to Chris Cornell on the day of Chris Cornell's suicide. Today would have been Chris Cornell’s 53rd birthday, which undoubtedly would have been a difficult time for the Linkin Park lead singer.

The news of Chester Bennington’s suicide sadly comes the same day that Linkin Park released it’s new music video for their latest single, Talking to Myself. Fans have flooded the comments of the video with their condolences and hopes that Chester Bennington will rest in peace.

Such a tragic end for such a remarkably talented and beloved musician. All of our thoughts and prayers are going out to his family, friends, and fans, during this extremely difficult time.

Ouch, Chester Bennington had died at age 41 and I was shocked. I guess underage people die young is on the rise these days. First Chris Cornell’s death, but now this. Why? How many underaged people dieds do we need these days? It’s getting old fast. This is what happens since America is very ignorant on variety because America don’t respect variety and stick with big repeats so they can make money. How will America ever getting America variety back? It’s so sad. I hope Parkymons mourn the loss of the Linkin Park singer. He is such a talented musician and yet people like kids don't respect good singers like him. People only like bad and avoid good so they can make money. How will music ever gonna think about MTV or streaming music videos if all music business does these days is radio and streaming audio. I want my people watch music videos online and MTV playing music videos back. Stupid change. Rant/ramble over.

Kelly Clarkson Finishing Album, Out Later This Year!

Hey guys, heads up…

Last month, as we’re getting closer to hearing Kelly Clarkson’s new album! Last summer, after 14 years with RCA, Kelly announced her move to Atlantic Records. She also excitedly confirmed that her upcoming 7th album will be much more soulful, urban, and R&B than the pop rock we’re used to hearing from her. Over the last year, the aging pop star shared tons of song clips, videos, and photos from the studio. We also learned about many different songwriters involved in the new record. Now, a full year after her initial announcement, it looks like Kelly is just about ready to release the new music. She took to Twitter on to answer fans’ pressing questions. First of all, why do we need Warner Brothers Records version of Vevo artists? Why are they still making Warner Brothers Records version of Vevo artists? I hate Warner Brothers Records version of Vevo artists? Also, why is it necessary to have a Vevo artist like Rita Ora make a Warner Brothers Records music these days? Also, why do we need Vevo-less music videos? I hate Vevo-less music videos. Why can’t all official music videos be on Vevo? I guess people listening to music don’t like Vevo and Vevo only appeal radio and mainstream commercial appeal. Vevo don’t appeal music artists as a whole like Vanessa Carlton and Amy Lee. Please put all music videos on Vevo website, Vevo. Times change. But that’s for another day. Let’s move on.

First and foremost, her lead single will be out… soon. Kelly Clarkson originally wanted it out in April, then said May, so there’s no telling when we’ll actually hear it. But it won’t be too long.

“Soon…. I am SO excited for everyone to hear this album!! Hands down my favorite project I've ever been a part of!

— Kelly Clarkson (@kelly_clarkson) June 6, 2017”

And despite some recent, alarming rumors of a delay to 2018, the Catch my Breath singer confirmed that the album will be out this year.

“You've been listening to the wrong rumors is all I'm sayin'

— Kelly Clarkson (@kelly_clarkson) June 6, 2017”

So she has chosen the album’s title already. She just won’t tell us what it is yet. All in due time.

“Yes ….and no

— Kelly Clarkson (@kelly_clarkson) June 6, 2017”

In addition, she has posted a new studio photo on Instagram. It looks like Kelly Clarkson is officially finishing up recording on June 8! So check it out.

After a year full of recording, it won’t be long now. We know Kelly Clarkson has worked with songwriters and producers like Jason Halbert, Ali Tamposi, Diztortion, J.R. Rotem, The Monarch production team, Claude Kelly, Sebastian Kole, and more. We also learned a new song title – It Matters To Me – which could be on the album. It’s just a matter of weeks before we find out more about the album. I mean, by the end of summer though as she’s nearly done with the album. I hope this will be a new success, not success going by repeats and computer.

Anyway, what are your thought’s on this year’s upcoming Kelly Clarkson album this fall? Sound off below!

Beyonce’s Twins Confirmed - Plus, Jay Z’s New Album 4:44 Is Out

Heads up, Beyonce, her new baby twins were born.

At the midnight on July 14, 2017, Beyonce posted the first photo of her new baby twins to Instagram, and we won’t be surprised if this post sets a new Insta record. The majestic photo emulates the theme of her pregnancy announcement seeing Beyonce standing in front of a huge bouquet of flowers by the ocean. In her arms are her two sleeping bundles of joy, and they look absolutely perfect. And so does their Mom. Queen Bey is glowing in a teal veil and oversized purple kimono with just panties on underneath. So can I point out Beyonce gave birth just one month ago? Sort of. Let’s move on.

Beyonce captioned the photo writing simply, “Sir Carter and Rumi 1 month today.” Along with a praying hands emoji, a red heart, and one corresponding human emoji for each person in her growing family. This caption confirms the twin’s names, hearing if for the first time from Beyonce herself. And it also confirms their age. But the caption raises one HUGE question that fans can’t get over: why does Sir have the last name Carter include and Rumi’s doesn’t? Is “Sir Carter” the baby boy’s entire first name? Or does Rumi have a different last name? The internet has so many questions.

On top of that fans are also wondering where their close up photo of the little angels is?! Patience you guys! We’ll get there. And finally, the Beyhive is defending those who think Bey’s photo is too “extra”. One fan wrote, “That #Beyonce pic didnt “take my breath away” it made me roll my eyes cuz she’s so extra and annoying.” Our response to that? Birthing twins IS extra and Beyonce can celebrate and express that however she wants. Intresting. I wonder what are the names of Beyonce’s twins? You’ll find out soon enough.

You may have heard by now that Beyonce, 35, and Jay Z, 47, welcomed a set of twins, making their five-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy a big sister — and the family went poetic with the monikers!

The couple even filed trademarks (with the same people who helped secure legal rights for Blue Ivy) for the names "Sir Carter" (for the boy) and "Rumi Carter" (for the girl), likely referencing 13th-century Persian poet Rumi, and one of his most famous poems.

B officially announced the names on Instagram, one month after the twins' birth on July 14. Posing with her newborns, the now mother-of-three looks flawless...unsurprisingly.

Here are the pic below:

In addition to that, Blue helped pick the names — so she must be one well-read little lady!

“Blue Ivy is relishing the role as a new big sister. She has been keeping mommy company in the hospital and has even helped in the naming process of her new siblings,” a source recently told Hollywood Life. "Blue is happy and can’t wait to take the new babies home to play with.” Cool.

As In Touch previously reported, the babies had been in the hospital "under the lights" following their premature birth, but have since come home.

According to one of our insiders, the family's special day was plagued with "a lot of drama" — and naturally, it was because of her father, Mathew Knowles.

The Carters and company “didn’t want him there because they don't trust him not to leak private information about the twins — or even worse, take photos," said a source, adding Bey's mother, Tina Lawson, had "some pretty harsh words for Mathew."

It appears as though their fears came true since he wound up confirming on social media that his daughter gave birth, and in turn, the Beyhive came out STINGING.

Boy, do I really hope someone tells us these aren't the actual baby names but in the meantime...

On July 7, Jay Z just dropped several bonus tracks from his recently released album, 4:44 — and, yes, his and BeyoncĂ©’s adorable daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, raps on one of the new tunes. The 2017 rap/hip-hop album goes straight to number 1 on Albums Chart and it is out now on both Tidal and Sprint.

The talented kid opens her hip-hip superstar father’s song “Blue’s Freestyle/We Family” with a 40-second intro that is slightly incomprehensible (hey, she’s five years old!), but she closes out her verse with this particularly gangsta line: “Never seen a ceiling in my whole life.”

Naturally, the Internet can’t get enough of Blue’s rhyming skills and social media users are losing it. To see some of the best Twitter reactions. Nice, I hope Jay Z and Beyonce will have a bright future with Jay Z’s 4:44 out now in addition to Beyonce’s fresh new baby twins. Bring it on, Jayonce. Next time, a new information on Kelly Clarkson's first Atlantic album and later, I'll be talking about music's marketing problems as a whole. So stay tuned.

Liam Payne & Zedd Dedut Summery New Single Get Low

Following the success of Zedd's latest single Stay featuring Alessia Cara, Zedd have teamed up with Liam Payne for a brand new summer smash hit called Get Low, putting a whole new meaning to ‘song of the summer.’

As if you thought summer couldn’t get any hotter, well, you may want to think again…

Whether you were awaiting a new upbeat banger from Zedd, or were anxious to see what Liam Payne’s next solo move would entail, yesterday might just be your lucky day, because the two have officially combined musical forces and dropped a brand new urban, Drake-influenced collab called Get Low, and judging by the title alone, it’s bound to be a smash hit. Check it out:

The two announced the news they’d be collaborating via Instagram earlier this week when Liam Payne posted photos of the two posing together, along with a Spotify ‘pre-save’ link. Although no teasers of the track were released, Zedd dropped a few hints of his own during a previous interview with Beats 1, saying QUOTE, “It’s the definition of a summer song to me, personally,” but he also gave a pre-warning that you’ll hear the song once and it won’t leave you, adding, “I feel like you’re going to hate it after awhile because it’s so catchy.”

Well, he sure wasn’t lying, but Zedd also had a lot to say about Liam, adding that this track is a good balance between where he’s going with his solo project and where Zedd is going with his own music. Although Zedd began working on “Get Low” before he met Liam, he even went as far to say that QUOTE, “Without Liam, I might have never finished the song. He really pulled it towards a direction that I would not have and I love where it is.”

Liam Payne, on the other hand, still believes that this single doesn’t lay out the sound for his upcoming album, and describes the album as more of a ‘playlist album’, like his favorite playlist of songs he’s made over the past year. And judging by the quick-paced, urban club vibes of this song compared to Liam’s first upbeat hip-hop-inspired single Strip That Down, it seems as though there may be a little something for everyone come his album release. Cool, I'll check out Zedd's Get Low with Liam Payne when I get a chance.

What are your thoughts on Liam Payne and Zedd’s new collab? Hit me up in the comments below!

Selena Gomez TEASES New Single Fetish

Yesterday, Selena Gomez has teased her new single, Fetish and everyone is dying to know what’s in that grocery bag.

2 nights ago, Selena Gomez was slapped with another surprise on Instagram. She posted a three photo grid and each one was captioned simply “FETISH” and there’s only one thing this can mean: It looks like a new Selena Gomez single coming!

The panorama photo sees the pop star sitting cross legged in the middle of a neighborhood street, but something seems to be burning in the background. I mean, is that car on the curb? She doesn’t seem to notice the commotion and has her eyes focused on the camera. But don’t think we didn’t catch those two grocery bags in front of her. So what’s in the bags?

All I know is there’s a much bigger story coming. It’s possible this storyline could tie into her recent Bad Liar single and video. This is the second song from Selena Gomez’s upcoming album, and the cover art for Fetish was also leaked online. The art reveals the new track features rapper Gucci Mane, and on it we see her standing in front of the broken down car. So did she get in car accident on the way home from the grocery store? I guess so. Let's continue.

It’s safe to say this tease did it’s job. But it's not done there. Right before she posted these three photos on Instagram she posted a selfie posing with a pillow reading “Love”. Selena Gomez’s boyfriend The Weeknd commented on the photo writing “Fetish”. So is this photo another teaser for the single? I guess we’ll have to wait to find out. No word on a release date as of yet, but it would be nice if there’s more Selena Gomez surprises where these came from. Sweet, more Selena Gomez single coming later this summer. This is gonna be awesome. Plus, Guuci Mane will be featured in this one. I'm sold on that. Can't wait for more SelGo extravaganza.

What do you think? What you think Fetish is all about? Also, what you think this suburban street photo means? Sound off below!

Kesha Makes An Emotional Comeback With The Single Praying

Happy July, music listeners.

Yesterday, Kesha triumphantly returns with her emotional new single Praying! Okay, let's talk about these vocals and this video.

Now then, just to let you know that something just listened to Kesha’s first solo single in 4 years and everyone was obsessed. Today Kesha returned with her song Praying, a brave piano ballad about feeling empathy for someone even though they hurt you. In an essay for Lena Dunham’s Lenny Letter Kesha explained the comeback song is also about learning to be proud of the person you are during low moments when you feel alone. So it’s pretty clear who the song was inspired by, drumroll please, a certain music producer who we’ll leave out of the conversation for now.

In addition to dropping the song today, Kesha released the official music video yesterday and so far, the music has just gained 5 and a half million views on Vevo. Imagine that. Watch Kesha’s colorful rebirth in video form and don’t forget to appreciate her stunning raw vocals. When you get a chance to see Kesha’s Praying video, that video deserves a full watch end to end. Take note folks because THIS is how you do a music video. The video starts in black and white introducing her vulnerable storyline and continues in color to display Kesha’s version of church and finding her inner strength.

Dare we say this is the PERFECT comeback song, and video? Although the song is totally different from her previous released songs and doesn’t sound like the Kesha we know. So we feel a major success on our hands.

Even better, Kesha announced her full album Rainbows is finally coming our way August 11th. The album features Eagles of Death Metal and none other than Dolly Parton. Well then, everybody are SO ready for the new era of Kesha. Just like that, no stupid recreate the past forula and all that crud. Now then, if only something like Amy Lee would get alot of views on the internet. Curse you, online goes by capitalism and social media. I want my online goes by diversity back.

What you think? What are your thoughts on Kesha's comeback single? Sound off below!
