Christina Aguilera Is Back After 6 Years Of No Music

Legend X is back, Fighters and this month we’re talking about 2 new Christina Aguilera singles this month. First up, we have the first single which was out on May 3 called Accelerate.

Now then, as you may know that Accelerate will be a lead single from first new album in 6 years. Wow, 6 years. Anyway, she has dropped Accelerate and a new music video on May 3. So far, after years of promising fans that new music was on the way, the 37-year-old single finally came through on May 3 by dropping the initial single off of her first new album in six years, Liberation. I bet streaming music will love Christina Aguilera because streaming is the future and we need veterans like Britney Spears in streaming music. Screw radio, streaming music and music videos ftw.

Accelerate is a laid back R&B gem that mixes her powerhouse vocals with rap verses from Ty Dolla Sign and 2 Chainz.

“C’mon babe, pci up the speed,” she sings in the suggestive song. “Stamina. Fill me up. Thats what I need.”

“I love you. I know you’ve been waiting,” Christina Aguilera said in a video on social media Wednesday, one of many she’s been putting out in anticipation of the new music. “It needed to be perfect for you. For me. I’m ready. It’s time. I’m finally feeling liberated.”

“I feel in life when you get to a place where you feel so comfortable and so routine, then you know you need to stop and start from scratch,” she said in another.

Liberation will arrive in full June 15 according to People Music. Among the songs on the 15-track album is a duet with Demi Lovato that both singers teased back in March. Nice. That’s where I discuss right now.

Enter the second single I’ll be talking about as the next subject called Fall In Love. In this single, it features Demi Lovato. The music video for Fall In Line came out 2 days ago on May 23.

According to Entertainment Weekly, “If you ever wondered what Christina Aguilera was willing to do to save her songstress sister Demi Lovato from the clutches of the patriarchy, you’ll find the answer in the pair’s new music video.

Aguilera unveiled the powerful clip for her latest single “Fall In Line” Wednesday afternoon, immersing fans in a stylized world where masked, masculine figures hold her and Lovato, her partner on the duet, captive. The feminist anthem’s lyrics compliment the visuals quite well, as Aguilera and Lovato sing in the name of liberating women from patriarchal shackles as their characters literally do just that.” Wow, it’s nice to see Demi Lovato featured in a Christina Aguilera single. That’s because Demi Lovato was born in 1992 and Genie In A Bottle came out in 1992. 1992 and 1999 are both 90s years. Let’s continue.

“The clip, directed by photographer and filmmaker Luke Gilford, opens on an image of two girls — one with blonde hair, the other a brunette — playing in a serene field. But, the placid scene is soon revealed to be a dream envisioned by an imprisoned Aguilera, who’s locked up in an underground facility and forced to perform her choral art by a legion of faceless male figures,” Entertainment Weekly continued, “The narrative evolves to reveal Lovato’s character as a prisoner, too, and the two work together to free themselves and escape to the sun-kissed land above.”

“The “Fall In Line” video lands three days after Aguilera and Lovato performed the song live for the first time at Sunday’s Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas, where the crowd leapt to its feet for a rousing standing ovation — including a particularly glowing reaction from Tyra Banks.”

Entertainment Weekly replied, “Following “Accelerate” and the promotional ballad “Twice,” “Fall In Line” lands as the second official single from Aguilera’s upcoming eighth studio album Liberation, due out June 15. Aguilera is set to perform the track on her upcoming Liberation Tour (her first traveling concert series in a decade) later this year.

Watch the just-released music video for the powerful track above. Liberation is available for pre-order here.”

Wow, that is great. I’m look forward to hear Accelerate and Fall In Love featuring Demi Lovato. I’m super excited to hear Liberation when it will arrive on Spotify June 15.

What do you think? Are you excited for Christina Aguilera’s Liberation? Are you excited for Accelerate and Fall In Line? Sound off below!

Recap: Celine Dion Revived From Ashes

Hey guys, I’m really sorry for the lack of new blogging. I’m just not a good blogger and I’m not good at typing different things. Anyway, Celine Dion is back and this time, we have a new single from her called Ashes.

Ashes, according to Wikipedia, “is a song recorded by Canadian singer Celine Dion for the Deadpool 2 (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack). It was released as the lead single on 3 May 2018, along with a music video starring Deadpool, which went viral immediately after the release. According to David Leitch, who directed both the film and the music video, the song is a part of the plot and the theme of the movie, instead of just being a fun music video to tease the release.”

In a music video released on 3 May 2018,” Wikipedia continued, “Dion performs the song on a stage in an empty theater, while slow-motion footage from Deadpool 2 is interspersed throughout. Halfway through, a string quartet appears on stage, as does Deadpool, who accompanies Dion's performance with an interpretive dance routine. The clip ends with Deadpool, played by Ryan Reynolds, applauding Dion, but informing the singer that she'll have to shoot the video again because her performance was too good.” Wow, that was really interesting. It’s good to see Celine Dion back and the 2018 single was amazing. Remember that this is for the movie, Deadpool 2, not for radio. Let’s continue.

"This is Deadpool 2, not Titanic," Deadpool cracks. "You're at like an 11, we need to get you down to a five, five-and-a-half tops. Just phone it in". Dion responds, "Listen, this thing only goes to 11. So beat it, Spider-Man". Deadpool then laments that he should have asked NSYNC instead,” Wikipedia replied, “The music video was directed by David Leitch, who also directed Deadpool 2. Reynolds revealed that the dance routine was performed by Yanis Marshall, a professional choreographer and dancer. On 7 May 2018, 20th Century Fox released an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the "Ashes" music video. As of 25 May 2018, the music video has been viewed over 25 million times on Dion's YouTube channel.”

Earlier this month, in a good clip for Good Morning America, on May 3, an iconie special guest debuts her new single, which also features a certain anti-hero, who has a new movie coming out later this month which I talked about earlier.

Hello ‘Good Morning America,’ I’m Celine Dion, and I’m so excited to share my new single and music video with you,” the icon said, introducing her new video. “It’s very, very special to me, I hope you enjoy.”

Like only the legend can as she belts out her song, “Ashes” in the clip, but it features someone, who’s currently becoming an icon in his own right – Deadpool. This music video is surprisingly touching (Not what you would expect from Deadpool), as out buddy Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds) sits in a theater watching the singer perform, seemingly thinking about his love Vanessa (Morena Maccarin.)

In the middle of the clip, you see some old photos of him before he became Deapool, spending quality time with his lady love.

Wow, awesome music video. Remember that I hate celebrities. I know that most singers like Celine Dion are celebrities. I don’t like non-music celebrities. But I will always support music star even if they're celebrities.

Next time on PM’s Music World, I’ll be talking about more music including Radio Disney Awards, Vevo and of course, rock music. So stay tuned.
