Lady Gaga Is Going Super Bowling

This Sunday is Super Bowl Sunday and this is where Lady Gaga gets to perform her Super Bowl halftime show.

Throughout the years, there are Super Bowl halftime performers which includes 2007’s Prince, 2015’s Katy Perry, last year’s Coldplay with Beyonce and the infamous 2004 incident where Justin Timberlake gets to rip Janet Jackson’s clothes at the end of their halftime performance. Shame on you, Justin Timberlake. You rip Janet Jackson.

Now then, here’s my favorite. Katy Perry’s Super Bowl Halftime Performance from 2015. I made that article 2 years ago on this blog prior to her halftime show with Lenny Kravitz and Missy Elliot and perform hit songs like Roar and Dark Horse. So far, it received critical acclaim and 2 days after the halftime show, the Guinness World Records announced that her performance garnered 118.5 million viewers in the United States, and became the most watched and highest rated show in Super Bowl history. The viewership was higher than the game itself, which was viewed by an audience of 114.4 million. Now that’s a success. Now then, let’s get back to Lady Gaga. Shall we?

OK, back to Lady Gaga. Now then, as you may know that Lady Gaga wants to use ‘every inch of the stage’ during Super Bowl Halftime: go behind the scenes. Let’s talk about this article. Billboard, take it away.

"Lady Gaga Wants to Use 'Every Inch of the Stage' During Super Bowl Halftime: Go Behind the Scenes

The Super Bowl is less than a week away and aside from the Atlanta Falcons and New England Patriots' gearing up for the big game, Lady Gaga is also in full on prep mode for the halftime show.

In a behind-the-scenes video shared by Pepsi, the pop superstar and her manager Bobby Campbell offered a glimpse of her readying to play the world's biggest stage.

"There's an opportunity for us to use every inch of the stage to have dynamic moments," said Gaga

The Mother Monster has previously shared some sneak peeks of the show, including horses and setting up a rehearsal stage in her own backyard. Unsurprisingly, Campbell likened Gaga's practicing to the game's star athletes.

"For us, the Super Bowl performance is her showing up the way the players are going to show up that day for the game," he said. "She's training for this just like an athlete. She stops at nothing to deliver a once-in-a-lifetime performance. This is the type of performance that you work a whole lifetime for, and there's no question that she's absolutely made for this moment."

With Gaga's show reportedly being just her, without any guest appearances, that means the 30-year-old artist is going to be the sole focus of the extravaganza -- presumably just how she likes it.

"She has a heart that speaks through everything that she does," Campbell continued. "And we want to bring everyone together for that 12 and a half minutes to celebrate the game, the athletes, the sport, but also I just want people to remember that she knows how to conquer a stage like the Super Bowl."

Super Bowl LI is scheduled for Sunday at 6:30 p.m. EST on Fox.

Thanks, Billboard. As you may know that Lady Gaga is still a small pop artist these days because 2011 is still the peak of Lady Gaga’s pop music and it does really matter. Not every singer gets to be big and many of them are still small mainstream artists including Lady Gaga. The last hit Lady Gaga song is 2013's Applause and after that, she went downhill by 2014. That's because she's just a commercial artist, not a natural artist. That's what Katy Perry is for as a natural artist. Lady Gaga isn’t the only small pop singer to perform her upcoming haltime show. Bruno Mars is also a small pop singer who performs at the Super Bowl halftime show. The rest are big artists like Beyonce and Katy Perry. I’m really looking forward to Lady Gaga’s halftime show.

What do you think? Are you looking forward to Lady Gaga’s halftime show performance this Sunday? Sound off below!
