Hey everyone, just to let you know that Selena Gomez's Revival has debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 with first-week sales of 117,000 units, making it her second solo consecutive number-one album. So let's check it out. Shall we?
OK then. So, In the United States, the album debuted at number one on
the Billboard 200, making it her second number one album after her
previous album Stars Dance (2013). It earned 117,000 equivalent album
units in its first week (85,000 pure album sales). It also gave her
highest first week sales as of October 2015, surpassing her previous
album. Nice.
But wait, that's not all.
Selena Gomez will perform at the 2015 American Music Awards live on Sunday, November 22. She tweeted, “Excited to perform at the @TheAMAs on 11.22! #RevivalAMAs” Oh boy, I can't wait. I hope she gets to perform a duet with Carrie Underwood at the 2015 American Music Awards. Let’s continue.
On October 2, 2015, Selena Gomez confirmed via her social networking accounts that she would embark on the Revival Tour in 2016, touring the United States and Canada from May to July and going overseas later in the year. The tour dates were revealed on October 5, 2015, through her official website. Assuming that the Same Old Love singer will not go on tour until May 2016 but she’s already announcing tour dates. The tour kicks off in Las Vegas in May and shortly after that she makes her way to Louisville. She will also perform in the KFC Yum! Center as part of her Revival Tour next year too.
Nice, I'm really exciting for more Selena Gomez's music. Revival tops that Billboard chart. Performing at the American Music Awards on November 22. And, Selena Gomez going on a Revival tour on May to July in North America. Sounds like fun. Wouldn't it?
