So far, Hidden Jams Music gets to talk about on the upcoming comeback album from the long running 90s rock group. So far, after 4 long year, Green Day finally made their comeback album last month with their topical new album, Bang Bang. Speaking of which.
2 years ago, there is a 2010s hit song called Bang Bang.
It’s a Jessie J single featuring Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj produced by Max
Martin and released in 2014. The music video is directed by Ariana Grande’s
director, Hannah Lux Davis. In this video, we get to see Jessie J feeling sexy
and shows Ariana Grande in the building and shows Nicki Minaj rapping in the
top of the building at night. The song reached the top 10 on the US Billboard
Hot 100. It’s a very risky single but the risk payed off and became Jessie J’s
2014 hit. She’s pretty hot. If you haven’t hear Jessie J’s Bang Bang, go check
it out on Vevo.
Now then, back to Green Day’s Bang Bang.
It appears that “Green Day has been hard at work in the
studio for most of 2016, and now fans are just days away from hearing some of
that new music. Green Day’s forthcoming single, “Bang Bang,” will be premiering
on August 11th!”, Hidden James Music replied, “Billie Joe Armstrong took to
Instagram to announce the big news:”
Plus, it is Green Days first single off of the upcoming Revolution Radio. In addition there is another single which will be the album titled track. As with Bang Bang, the first single, “Revolution Radio” describes today’s political and social climate. This time, though, Billie sings from a more relatable perspective (i.e., not the mass shooter found in “Bang Bang”). So it looks like “Revolution Radio” gives voice to the rest of us. Pretty awesome, huh?
Now then, here’s what Billie has to say about a comment to
Rolling Stone about the current racial issues:
“I think my role is to shut up and listen. A lot of white
people should shut up and listen. They really don’t know what the
African-American experience truly is. When you have people getting shot in
their cars for no reason and being put in (insert swear word here) jail cells
and it’s for profit, we have a serious problem, and the first thing you need to
do is get educated. Don’t try to do this, like, “Blue lives matter.” Don’t try
to do the “All lives matter.” Just shut up and listen to the experience. And
then move forward after that.”
Thanks, Billie. Green Day’s Revolution Radio will be out in just a few weeks on October 7 th. It is their first album since their 2012 trilogy, and the first they’ve produced since 2000’s Warning.
What do you think? Are you excited to hear Green Day’s
Revolution Radio and their singles, Bang Bang and the album titled track? Sound
