Hey guys, just to let you know that MTV is returning to music on MTV's first music related original show called Wonderland. Now, what I'm doing is that MTV returns to music with Wonderland, a new live performance series. Wonderland will be coming to MTV with all the music on September 15 at 11pm. That's this Thursday night.
Now, as I was saying. It's been 2 week ago since the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards premieres on August 28 and that's where the Wonderland promo gets to show up.
OK, let's talk about the promo. It appears that the promos starts with playing Flume's Never Be Like You and talk abot social media sites like Twitter and then MTV says Wonderland premieres Thursday, September 15 at 11. Wow. Pretty cool. Let's continue.
It appears that MTV will launch Wonderland live with Lizzo, Ty Dolla Sign, Tinashe and Broods. Yup, MTV is going to Wonderland. "Wonderland will provide a platform for artists to express and reveal who that are in whatever performance or content inspires them to connect with their fans," MTV replies on its website, "A fresh new weekly music show called Wonderland will showcase the best in new music through live performance. Each week, three different acts will take the "stage" - really a living, breathing space in Los Angeles." Wow, talk about MTV getting unplugged. It's time to pull the plug on reality shows. Now then, here's what MTV has to say about this.
MTV: A fresh new weekly music show called Wonderland will showcase the best in new music through live performances. Each week, three different acts will take the “stage”—really a living, breathing space in Los Angeles—along with today’s emerging talents in comedy. Developed in partnership with Comedy Central and hosted by musicians and comedians themselves, Wonderland is the first show of its kind that MTV has put on the air in nearly two decades.
Thanks, MTV. It looks like the music on MTV is back and Wonderland is a new event anchored in music and extending out into the world of pop culture. Hooray. No more copy and paste programming like reality shows and movies. It's great to see MTV bringing back an old favorite with "MTV Unplugged" and is creating a new weekly live music show with Wonderland. In addition, Wonderland will also offer behind-the-scenes footage via MTV's Snapchat, Twitter, and Instagram accounts. Music services like Vevo and Spotify will be proud of MTV. So let's check out the promo below.
