Carrie Underwood To Rock The New Year's Eve In Time Square

That's right, pop superstar, Carrie Underwood, will perform in New York City's Time Square, headlining ABC's annual ball-drop party.

Just days after releasing her fifth studio album, Storyteller, Carrie Underwood has been named the headliner of one of the world's largest celebrations - the New Year's Eve countdown from Times Square in New York City.

According to USA Today, Carrie Underwood has a big 2016 planned. But she's going to finish 2015 with a bang, first.

The pop singer will perform at this year's New Year's Rockin' Eve host Ryan Seacrest revealed on Twitter.

He tweeted, "hey @carrieunderwood I hope u have long johns and good ear muffs.. I'll see u in times square for @OfficialNYRE 2016!," he continued, if there’s one girl who will make sure our clock don’t stop on new year's eve, it’s @carrieunderwood ;)."

USA Today's Elysa Gardner said of the highly anticipated pop album, Storyteller: "Underwood is at her most convincing, and winning, on the songs that seem to stem from personal contentment. Singing What I Never Knew I Always Wanted, an obvious ode to her husband and the child they welcomed earlier this year, Underwood finds truth in corn; her joy sparkles because it's never forced or overstated. Tenderness remains Underwood’s strongest suit, the one in which she can show off the clarity of her voice, and her sheer likability, without apology.”

The Smoke Break singer will be the star performer in the live telecast of Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Even With Ryan Seacrest 2016, taking the stage just before the ball drops to announce the new year. In Times Square alone, the pop star’s audience is expected to top one million people, while millions more could tune in worldwide.

Carrie Underwood said in a press statement, “There’s nowhere else I’d rather be than New York’s Time Square, one of the most magical places in the world, to ring in the New Year.”

The telecast begins at 8pm ET on December 31, live on ABC, and will be hosted for the 10th year by Ryan Seacrest. He’ll be joined in New York by Jenny McCarthy, while Fergie will host the pretaped West Coast party from Hollywood.

I’m really exciting for Carrie Underwood headlining ABC’s ‘New Year’s Rockin’ Eve’ special in New York’s Time Square. Carrie Underwood, to me, in an underrated pop singer. Like Taylor Swift, her pop music don’t sound pop and her pop songs sound like they’ve could’ve been from another genre like country. This makes Carrie Underwood's music different compared to other pop music like Rihanna. I hope Carrie Underwood will be making deep emotional pop music that will be similar to her non-pop works as a side project for the sixth album. So probably 2016 would be a good time for the Little Toy Guns singer to work on her first pop music side project as her sixth studio album.

Revival Tops The Billboard 200 Chart

Hey everyone, just to let you know that Selena Gomez's Revival has debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 with first-week sales of 117,000 units, making it her second solo consecutive number-one album. So let's check it out. Shall we?

OK then. So, In the United States, the album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, making it her second number one album after her previous album Stars Dance (2013). It earned 117,000 equivalent album units in its first week (85,000 pure album sales). It also gave her highest first week sales as of October 2015, surpassing her previous album. Nice.

But wait, that's not all.

Selena Gomez will perform at the 2015 American Music Awards live on Sunday, November 22. She tweeted, “Excited to perform at the @TheAMAs on 11.22! #RevivalAMAs” Oh boy, I can't wait. I hope she gets to perform a duet with Carrie Underwood at the 2015 American Music Awards. Let’s continue.

On October 2, 2015, Selena Gomez confirmed via her social networking accounts that she would embark on the Revival Tour in 2016, touring the United States and Canada from May to July and going overseas later in the year. The tour dates were revealed on October 5, 2015, through her official website. Assuming that the Same Old Love singer will not go on tour until May 2016 but she’s already announcing tour dates. The tour kicks off in Las Vegas in May and shortly after that she makes her way to Louisville. She will also perform in the KFC Yum! Center as part of her Revival Tour next year too.

Nice, I'm really exciting for more Selena Gomez's music. Revival tops that Billboard chart. Performing at the American Music Awards on November 22. And, Selena Gomez going on a Revival tour on May to July in North America. Sounds like fun. Wouldn't it?

Rihanna’s R8 Will Be Launched This November

The wait is finally over...

The hot Barbadian chick, Rihanna, is finally releasing her anticipated R8 album. But that’s not all...

Ever since she has become a near-unparalleled pop-cultural force, especially in the past few years, it is easy to forget that Rihanna has not actually released a proper album since 2012. After putting one out every fall, starting in 2005, for seven out of eight straight years (taking only 2008 off), she has taken her time since 2012’s Unapologetic. Starting around last year, Rihanna’s Navy—starving for new material—began to interpret any vague tweet or album-art-reminiscent Instagram as grounds for working themselves into a frenzy over the promise of #R8, the shorthand hashtag for referring to the album, the promise, the pop rainbow due on the pop horizon.

This year, she has released three songs (each accompanied with a music video): “FourFiveSeconds” (a collaboration with Kanye West and Paul McCartney) in January, “Bitch Better Have My Money” in March, and “American Oxygen” in April. But, this flurry of singles was not followed by a surprise album release or any sort of announcement—eventually, at some point over the summer, rumors abounded that Rihanna had scrapped the entire album and was starting over. The promise of #R8 seemed less and less certain with each passing carefree Instagram Rihanna posted.

But yesterday, October 7, marks the great turning point: the day #R8 transformed from hazy prospect into palpable reality. Rihanna hosted an event at Los Angeles’s Mama gallery, where she debuted the art for the album, all of which was created by artist Roy Nachum (in total, seven original oil paintings by Nachum were featured). Rihanna had her guests don red eye masks as they perused the exhibit, and asked them to touch large-scale Braille poems which were embedded on top of the images. The cover art, which was not unveiled until Rihanna herself arrived, features the singer as a child, wearing a gold crown and holding a balloon, sheathed in red paint. (There is something very Kanye-esque about this aesthetic, no?) “I fell in love with [Nachum] because I felt like there was another spirit, there was another layer to the art. After we met, we talked about what I wanted visually, what would make me the happiest girl in the world," Rihanna said.

The album is called Anti, which Rihanna confirmed on her Instagram account, posting a shot from the exhibit. “By continuing to follow her own instincts,” the explanation reads, “her work strives to make an impact by doing the very antithesis of what the public expects.”

Not every R8 mystery has been solved, however—no release date for Anti has been revealed.

OK then, to me, Anti is a clever and very interesting title despite the album’s title change. I think Anti is a fine title change over R8 because R8 is more like a beta title than an official title. So Anti fits the title nicely since I personally think this has something to do with why she is having a tough time being a good role model. Smart choice, Bad Gal RiRi.

Rihanna has been around 10 years ever since 2005 and since her debut album, Music Of The Sun and her debut single, Pon De Replay, 10 years ago, Rih Rih is going strong. Especially during her debut in the 1999-2005 period of mainstream music.

Oh boy, I'm so excited for Anti next month alongside Adele's 25. Why? Because Rihanna will be doing an album gap between her albums since 2012. Remember, Rihanna is not commercialistic. She's naturalistic. Ditto other artists who are naturalistic like Ellie Goulding, Adele, Selena Gomez and Ariana Grande. That's why Rihanna is naturalistic.

P.S. I do like her butt. Oh yes. Rihanna's butt is very sexy. No matter Rihanna's butt is very hot. She has a nice soft butt. This is why I do like women's butts like her butt.

Say "Hello" To Adele's New Music This Morning

This morning, the wait is finally over. Adele is finally coming back and this time, this is an 'if it ain't broke' ballad showing what Adele does best.

Now, as I was saying... It might not be a groundbreaking, but Adele's return with her familiar, smoky sound is very welcome. Now then, I present you, Adele's 2015 single, Hello.

Now then, as you may know that Hello 'delivers raw, honest feeling' and her haunting gorgeous video for Hello delivers the most emotional, technologically groundbreaking video Adele has even done.

Directed by Canadian auteur Xavier Dolan, Hello features mostly lush close-ups of Adele and her co-star from The Wire and 90210, Tristan Wilds, and the rain-soaked Montreal landscape.

Anyway, there's no reminder of the gaping hole Adele has left in pop music over the three years since 2012's debuted quite like her gorgeous return. Hello is Adele's first single off her years-in-the-making 25 is exactly what her fans want - nay, need! - from the British singer: love-ravaged lyrics about a relationship long-gone and her full-bodied alto bleeding emotion. So long Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber and all these other stupid junk music. Welcome back, Adele.

This may well become the most famous pop greeting ever, muscling out dear old Lionel Richie. Adele is back, reintroducing herself with a slightly tentative Hello which rarely has a single word been freighted with so much meaning and emotion. But wait, that's not all.

Hello is confirmed to be the lead single of the upcoming album, 25. Now just to let you know that 25 will be the 'last age one' according to Adele's first interview on 25 album. Adele will release 25, her first studio album since 2011, on November 20, but it's never too early to start thinking about what comes next. Oh yeah, Adele's back.

I'm really exciting for Adele's comeback album, 25 and her comeback single, Hello. Since Hello is finally out this morning, 25 is coming this November. Why? Because Adele has worked so hard working on her 3 year album production for 25. In addition, Adele is hot. That's right, Adele is hot. Why? Because she's hot. Look how hot she is. No matter she's hot.

You said it, Ari. Now, as I was saying. Her signature half-up ponytail, obvi. But lately, she’s been changing up her look and throwing us a curveball here and there. There was the time she recently took to Insta with a selfie series of her gorgeous natural curls (something we hadn’t seen from her in a long time), the time she hit the town with a half-up topknot, and the time she sported a full-on messy bun in her first-ever fragrance campaign for Ari. Each of these transformations was somewhat shocking, but she just made her biggest hair move yet. That’s right, Ariana Grande is platinum blonde.

She’s been teasing her latest single, Focus, which will be out on October 30th (a week after Carrie Underwood’s Storyteller came out), on Instagram over the past few days, by posting pixelated pics of the art. At first, the blurry pic was really hard to make out. But then, as she continued to post it, it became more…well…in focus. And something curious appeared. Her hair looked much lighter than normal. She even told her fans via Snapchat to follow her hairstylist, Dalina Rebollo, on Instagram for more clues. Dalina’s giveaway? A single white bobby pin. That teaser pretty much gave away what was to come. What brunette wears white bobby pins? That is a hair no-no.

We’re going to say that the hot pop chick that has her hot butt is most likely sporting a wig; she’s been more than candid about how dying her hair fiery red for the show caused significant damage to her locks. Regardless of whether or not it’s real or temporary, she is working this new vibe. And, with 16 days left until the single is out, there’s no telling what else is in store from the singer.

By the way, Ariana Grande follows 45 million followers on Instagram. That’s because Ariana Grande is hot. She has a nice butt. That’s why she’s hot. Anyway, none of this would matter if it wasn't for all the drama that bizarrely stemmed from her enthusiasm for ponytails. The fact that she rarely changed up the style did not go unnoticed, prompting the singer to actually explain that she basically destroyed her hair from bleaching it and dying it red "every other week" when she starred on Victorious and Sam & Cat on Nickeldeon and uses fake hair to make her iconic ponytails. In addition, it appears that Ariana Grande’s Focus artwork is inspired by Laidback Luke.

I'm really looking forward to hear Focus in just 2 weeks. This will make me love Ariana Grande and her music even more. Later on, after the third album, Moonlight, the pop singer will begin to tackle new genres like rock music. That will make Ariana Grande even more hot which is why I think she's hot. I'm really exciting for this.

Selena Gomez’s Battle With Lupus And Chemotherapy: Is She In Denial By Not Taking Care Of Herself?

Hey guys, just to let you know that Selena Gomez finally confirmed that she suffered from Lupus in a recent interview – rumors have been floating around for years that Selena Gomez had the disease, however she never addressed them. She also revealed that during her tumultuous relationship with Justin Bieber, she actually underwent chemotherapy treatments to help her fight Lupus. Selena Gomez insists that her health is on the up and up now, but according to this week’s cover of In Touch Magazine – that might not exactly be true.

In Touch Magazine features a photo of Selena Gomez on the cover this week and the headline screams, “Chemotherapy Fails To Cure Selena: Life Or Death Battle!” In Touch’s cover goes on to tease that Selena Gomez is “living on borrowed time,” has been secretly hospitalized more than once, and the singer is terrified that she will “never get better.”

In Touch Magazine somehow obtained some of Selena Gomez’s medical records, and got some insight from

a specialist on the singer’s medical condition and her fight against Lupus. According to the magazine’s source, “In my experience…patients who undergo chemotherapy for treatment of lupus usually have organ-threatening disease. With organ-threatening lupus, you have subsets that are particularly harsh and can lead to death.”

According to In Touch, Selena Gomez’s biggest problem is that she seems to be in denial and has a tough time following the doctors’ orders. We’re going to assume that all of the late night partying and extreme weight gain and weight loss are not wise choices for someone who has been diagnosed with Lupus. A concerned pal of Gomez’s dished to the tabloid, “She just needs to realize that she has a life-threatening disease and needs to calm down and stop all this—before it’s too late.”

Wow, talk about why Selena Gomez partying did ruined her career or her life at the same time. This might be the reason is that mid 2010s is a dark time for Selena Gomez. During 2014, is appears that Selena Gomez has to go in a rehab. Then 2 days ago, it appears that experts hope to inform public about lupus.

With the recent announcement of Selena Gomez's lupus diagnosis, experts are hoping more people get to know the facts about the disease. The autoimmune disease affects more than 1.5 million Americans. According to the Lupus Research Institute, more than 90 percent of lupus sufferers are women including Selena Gomez herself.

No two cases of lupus are exactly alike, so the symptoms vary depending on which body systems are affected by the disease. Some symptoms include fatigue and fever, chest pain, butterfly-shaped rashes and joint pain.

It also sometimes takes four to six years before people are diagnosed, and in that time organs can be damaged.

Even with a diagnosis, treatment can be difficult. Selena Gomez said she received chemotherapy, but that doesn't work for everyone.

The Lupus Research Institute is scheduled to have a patient conference next Tuesday in Manhattan. I hope Selena Gomez has to treat her lupus well. First Avril Lavigne diagnosed with Lyme Disease, now Selena Gomez diagnosed with Lupus. I don't want the hot pop chick to die from Lupus. I want the sexy Good For You hitmaker with her sexy butt to feel fine. As there's no cure. Chemotherapy fails to cure her as she suffered in a life or death battle. She's living on borrowed time, friend say as secret hospitalizations after she defies doctor's orders. She will never get better as she is in her tears. Get well, Selena Gomez. I believe in you.

Taylor Swift Leads With 9 Nominations At The MTV EMAs Hosted By Ed Sheeran

Hey everyone, just to let you know that I haven’t make any new music related articles at PM’s Music World. I think I’m pretty lazy doing articles in my blogs for some reason. By the way, Selena Gomez’s Revival is finally out now. So if you haven’t get the latest Selena Gomez album, now is the time to do that. Also, Demi Lovato’s Confident will be out in 2 days with Carrie Underwood’s Storyteller released a week later. So if you like Demi Lovato and/or Carrie Underwood, I suggest you to pick up the artists’ respective album when it was released sooner.

Well then, it seems that The 2015 MTV EMAs (also known as the MTV Europe Music Awards) will be held at the Mediolanum Forum in Assago, near Milan, Italy, on 25 October 2015. This will be the third time the awards have taken place in Italy, and the second time Milan has been the host city. The awards will be held in the same venue as the 1998 MTV EMAs. On 30 September 2015, it was announced that Ed Sheeran would host the awards, along with Ruby Rose as co-host.

Throughout mid-2015, Milan is also the host of Expo 2015, a partner of this year's awards. But wait, that’s not all.

In the Billboard article last month, it states that Taylor Swift is nominated for nine MTV Europe Music Awards, MTV unveiled Tuesday in a statement and via its international Snapchat Discover channel.

With the record-breaking number of nominations, including three for "Bad Blood," the singer leads the way. Other nominees include Justin Bieber, who is up for six awards, One Direction, 5 Seconds of Summer, Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande, Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga & Tony Bennett, Kanye West and Pharrell Williams.

The 2015 MTV EMAs will air live on Sunday, Oct. 25 from the Mediolanum Forum in Milan, Italy.

Sound like a smart plan. Huh, T-Swizzle? Not only that, Ed Sheeran gets to be the host of the MTV EMAs. Sound like a good choice unlike Miley Cyrus who ruined the 2015 MTV VMAs host. Stupid Miley Cyrus. With Ed Sheeran being the EMS host alongside Ruby Rose, this will be a better MTV awards this year than what Miley Cyrus did. I hate Miley Cyrus and that stupid Dooo It song. So what MTV can do to fix this is to have Carrie Underwood as the next VMAs host for The 2016 MTV Video Music Awards. That way, Carrie Underwood will be much nicer than Miley Cyrus. In fact, Carrie Underwood can do a medley of her country hits like Smoke Break in a nice pop rock mix with a southern rock twang. This will allow MTV to pay attention to the crossover country star. OK, let's move on.

Now that Taylor Swift leads MTV EMAs with 9 nominations, it’s time for Taylor Swift to have one more label with Big Machine Records and Big Machine Records will sell all Taylor Swift records to Republic Records. That would be so cool. Especially after Shake It Off has now reached 1 billion views and Wildest Dreams gaining more than 100 million views on Vevo and peaked at number 8 at the US Billboard Hot 100 chart making it her fifth top 10 1989 hit. I hope Taylor Swift gets to win a new nomination and then MTV will have a deal with Taylor Swift like a Taylor MTV Marathon. Make it happen, MTV and Taylor Swift. A Swiftmas marathon on Christmas day would be a perfect Taylor Swift music videos marathon on MTV just in time for the holidays.

With Selena Gomez's Revival releasing this Friday, it looks like October 2015 will be the month for Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato and Carrie Underwood. Revival will be out in 4 days while Confident will be out a week later alongside Storyteller's launch in just 2 weeks.

As you may know that Selena Gomez is on her new Album and media scrutiny: ‘I Just Don’t Care About the Noise Anymore’. According to Selena Gomez's TIME interview, is appears that MAX MARTIN on Hands to Myself: This is the greatest thing I've heard all year." Anyway, after Good For You peaked at number 1 on the US Mainstream Top 40 (Billboard), it's time for Selena Gomez to release another 2015 single called Same Old Love. It features uncredited vocals from Charli XCX herself. Selena Gomez was spotted filming the music video for "Same Old Love" on August 15, 2015 at downtown Los Angeles. A photo of the shooting was used as the official artwork for the single. A preview of the music video was released on September 16 during the fan exclusive "Revival Event" in Los Angeles. It was directed by Michael Haussman. Te music video was available to view on Apple Music on September 22, 2015. According to Billboard, the song peaked on the US Billboard Hot 100 at number 43 and Mainstream Top 40 at number 22. It appears that there are 11 tracks for Revival and the album will come out this Friday. 2 weeks before Carrie Underwood's Storyteller. According to the tracklist, Max Martin has written and produced Hands to Myself. So I believe that Hands to Myself would be the next Revival single. Possibly after holiday 2015 or even January 2016. On October 2, Me & The Rhythm will be released as a promotional single. OK, Selena Gomez is done. Let's talk about Storyteller's tracklist revealed.

OK, let's talk about Carrie Underwood. As you may know that the music video for Smoke Break plays a sample of a song called Renegade Runaway. Renegade Runaway, to me, is more like an equivalent to a country rock version of Carly Rae Jepsen's Run Away With Me. I think MTV should air Carrie Underwood music videos including this one since MTV, the anti-country music channel, has started to get familiar with the country American Idol winner. So what Carrie Underwood does after this album is to make a pop album with deep pop-rock/dance-pop songs as Carrie Underwood's first side-project for a crossover appeal with pop. That way, pop music will get interested in the country superstar when she makes pop music. She might be different than other country stars. OK then, here's the Storyteller's tacklist.

As you can see, there are 13 tracks on Storyteller, 2 more than what Revival's had, and I believe that the lead single, Smoke Break is number 5. In addition, it appears that Carrie Underwood is working with Liz Rose. The same writer who also worked with Taylor Swift and her first 2 albums and her singles like Tim McGraw and White Horse. Liz Rose also worked with 2012's All Too Well from Red. Anyway, the song Carrie Underwood and Liz Rose has worked on is called Like I'll Never Love You Again. I would say that Like I'll Never Love You Again is Carrie Underwood's first Liz Rose project and it might be a single next year and have Like I'll Never Love You Again released for pop radio only. Not country radio. This might be a perfect Carrie Underwood song for 2016 pop music. Pretty cool, huh? I want this to happen. I hope the hot country chick will release her kick butt "pop" album soon.
