2018: New Year, New Music

Happy 2018, everyone.

Sorry for a long gap of not writing my articles in my blog. I'm really busy doing random stuff. Also, sorry for not making any December 2017 articles. Anyway, new year, new music. Now let's talk about the rest of music for 2017. Shall we?

Anyway, let's talk about the death of Tom Petty. You know Tom Petty. He was a member of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers. Now then, as you may know that Tom Petty died at the age of 66. He was almost 67 if he was still alive. Poor Tom Petty. Rest in peace, Tom Petty. Now then, next up, Taylor Swift.

Here it is guys, Taylor Swift. In November of last year, Taylor Swift has released her sixth album, Reputation. I never like Reputation. That album is terrible. I will never trust Taylor Swift's pop music again. Bake to Reputation. As you may noticed that the lead single, Look What You Made Me Do, as the biggest 24 hour debut with 43 million views in its first day and the fastest to get 100 million views on Vevo in less than 4 days. The music video quickly beats Adele's Hello music video from 2015. In addition to that, Reputation sold more than 1 million copies in the US during its first week. With more than 1.2 million copies sold during its first week. Taylor Swift is the only artist to have 4 albums selling more than 1 million copies in the first week in the US. Man, I hate Taylor Swift's pop music. That's all Taylor Swift does these days, pop, pop, pop. All she does these days is those damn pop music. I'm tired of pop. This is why I love streaming music. If only Taylor Swift adopt streaming music, then things will turned out smoother. Now then, next up, Snoop Dogg and Kelly Clarkson.

OK, let's talk about Snoop Dogg and Kelly Clarkson. Also in November 2017, we have Nickelodeon's Thanksgiving Weekend where we talk about Snoop Dogg and Kelly Clarkson. First of all, Snoop Dogg makes a special guest on Nickelodeon's crossover event, Danger Games. Featuring Henry Danger and Game Shakers. In this one, Triple G shows a clip about Snoop Dogg to Double G in order for Double G to get his on revenge charity concert. That's all the scene does for Snoop Dogg appearing in Danger Games. After Snoop Dogg, we have Kelly Clarkson appearing in Nickelodeon Halo Awards 2017. According to the promo, she will be performing Since U Been Gone, Stronger and Love So Soft. It was hosted by Nick Cannon. Last but not least, Eminem. Let's do this.

OK, Eminem is up next. As you may know that Eminem is releasing his comeback album in December 2017 called Revival. That's funny because Selena Gomez also released her 2015 album called Revival. Anyway, the Eminem version of Revival features a lead single, Walk On Water featuring Beyonce. This is no Carrie Underwood's Something In The Water. So far, Eminem's Revival heads for number 1 on the Billboard chart. It was launched on December 15 and it sold around 250 thousand copies in the US prior to December 21. Impressive. Anyway, that's it for this article as I'm done with Eminem.

Now then, let's talk about this year's music for 2018. So far, the only 2018 music what we have is a brand new Justin Timberlake single. Well, that's pretty much it. Nothing else we can talk about it. OK, next time, we'll be discussing the next 2018 music if it's gonna happen. So stay tuned.
