2 New Albums Coming This Friday

With Little Mix's fourth album, Glory Days, released in 2 days, there are also 2 more albums released the same day as the fourth Little Mix album. First up, we have Metallica releasing their first album in 8 years since 2008 called Hardwired... To Self-Destruct and we're talking about it right now.

Now then, as you may know that on August 18, Metallica has announced its 2016 lead single called Hardwired and revealing the entire tracklist for Hardwired... To Self-Destruct. It is a 12-song tracklist album and Hardwired is an energetic song with blasting drums and spitted lyrics. You can hear traces of Metallica’s very first album, Kill ‘Em All, as well as some Slayer elements, in its straightforward, unrelenting intensity. The music video fits the song’s mood, as close-up shots of the band members flash across the screen. It’s chaotic, making it nearly impossible to get a clear image of what’s going on. It’s reminiscent of their video for Enter Sandman.

Metallica’s new album includes 12 new songs. See the full tracklist below:

Disc One

Hardwired
Atlas, Rise!
Now That We’re Dead
Moth Into Flame
Am I Savage?
Halo On Fire

Disc Two

Confusion
Dream No More
ManUNkind
Here Comes Revenge
Murder One
Spit Out The Bone

There’s also a deluxe version that includes riffs that were the origins of Hardwired… To Self-Destruct:

Lords Of Summer
Riff Charge (Riff Origins)
N.W.O.B.H.M. A.T.M. (Riff Origins)
Tin Shot (Riff Origins)
Plow (Riff Origins)
Sawblade (Riff Origins)
RIP (Riff Origins)
Lima (Riff Origins)
91 (Riff Origins)
MTO (Riff Origins)
RL72 (Riff Origins)
Frankenstein (Riff Origins)
CHI (Riff Origins)
X Dust (Riff Origins)

Hardwired... To Self-Destruct will be out on November 18. The same day another album was released. So let's check it out right now.

Another album released the same day Metallica's Hardwired... To Self-Destruct and Little Mix's Glory Days was released is the third album by Bruno Mars. His third album is called 24K Magic and he performed that single at the 2016 MTV EMAs and he will perform that single again at the 2016 American Music Awards on Sunday.

24K Magic is a materialistic anthem that comes off as fun rather than annoying. The pop singer instructs you to “put your pinky rings up to the moon” over a sparkling, dancey beat. The song’s music video reflects the extravagant lifestyle described in the lyrics. Private jets, expensive jewelry, and over-the-top partying turn the song into a celebration. Like like Uptown Funk, this song is upbeat, funky, and impossibly catchy. Bruno Mars seems to be moving into funkier territory and it already sounds like a perfect fit. Also, when you pre-order the album on ITunes, you get an instant download of the album-titled single. Sounds catchy. OK let's continue.

Anyway, Bruno Mars's 24K Magic will released 2 days away.

What do you think? Are you excited for Metallica's Hardwired... To Self-Destruct? Are you excited for Bruno Mars's 24K Magic? Sound off below!

Britney Is Goin' Slumber Party

Hey, everyone. Just to let you know that Britney Spears will release her second single off of her 2016 single, Glory. Her second Glory single is called Slumber Party and it will be slated towards by the end of Thanksgiving for pop radio by RCA.

There's no denying that Brienty Spears is back and her ninth studio album, Glory was released in August and only one single, Make Me (Oooh) featuring E-Eazy, has been released so far.

With all the great tracks on the album just wnating to be hits, we want to know that which song you thyink the pop princess should unleash as her next single on October 17. So on October 25, will be confirmed that Slumber Party will be her second album. Also, Slumber Party will have a collaboration with Tinashe as the Princess of Pop teases Slumber Party with the R&B singer. So here they are.

It looks like there may be a Britney Spears/Tinashe collaboration in our future. Brit shared a picture with Tinashe on October 25 and she captioned "Neighbors say we're causing a commotion..." That is a line from the Work Bitch singer's Slumber Party, seemingly an indication that a new version of the 2016 Britney Spears single featuring Tinashe is on its way in which Billboard conformed with the pop star's rep.

Neighbors say we're causing a commotion...

— Britney Spears (@britneyspears) October 25, 2016

Wow, talk about more collabs. I guess Brit was really good at collabs. Hopefully Slumber Party will be the Toxic of 2010s pop music. Also, I hope Britney Spears gets to perform Slumber Party at the 2016 American Music Awards and Slumber Party might be Britney's most overplayed song on the radio in 5 years. Please, RCA, make Slumber Party number 1 this holiday season. Britney Spears needs US number 1s back and now is the time to come.

Bring it on, Miss Britney.

You've Been A Very Good Girl. A Very Very Good Good Girl, Gaga - Lady Gaga's Joanne Debut At Number 1 At BB200

This is it, folks. Lady Gaga has scored her fourth number 1 album on Billboard 200 chart with Joanne. The album sold around 170,000 during its first week.

Now then, just to let you know that Lady Gaga is the only female artist with four No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200 in the 2010s passes Beyonce and Taylor Swift, each with three during the decade. But to be fair, Beyonce and Taylor Swift are actually bigger than Lady Gaga because Lady Gaga is still a small artist and it really does matter. Lady Gaga peaked in the US udring 2008-2011 and Lady Gaga's Applause performed will in 2013 making Artpop her number 1 album of 2013. Unfortunately, Artpop is not a big success Lady Gaga hoped for. But who cares. Now then, here's what Billboard has to say about this. Take it, Billboard.

"Lady Gaga Scores Her Fourth No. 1 Album on Billboard 200 Chart With 'Joanne'

10/30/2016 by Keith Caulfield

Lady Gaga claims her fourth No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, as Joanne arrives in the pole position. The set earned 201,000 equivalent album units -- a better-than-expected start -- in the week ending Oct. 27, according to Nielsen Music.

Joanne was released on Oct. 21 through Streamline/Interscope Records.

The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U.S. based on multi-metric consumption, which includes traditional album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). The new Nov. 12-dated chart (where Joanne bows at No. 1) will be posted in full to Billboard’s websites on Tuesday, Nov. 1.

Joanne follows Lady Gaga’s previous chart-toppers Cheek to Cheek (with Tony Bennett, in 2014), Artpop (2013) and Born This Way (2011).

Joanne's bow of 201,000 units is larger than what industry forecasters estimated. On Oct. 25, sources had pegged the album to start with around 180,000 (and that was an upgrade from 140,000 a few days earlier).

The album’s 201,000 launch is the fourth-largest debut of 2016, and the second-biggest for a woman. Ahead of it are Drake’s Views (1.04 million), Beyonce’s Lemonade (653,000) and Frank Ocean’s Blonde (276,000 units).

In terms of traditional sales, Joanne sold 170,000 -- the seventh-largest bow of the year, and the second-biggest for a woman. The only larger starts were registered by Drake’s Views (852,000 copies sold), Beyonce’s Lemonade (485,000), Frank Ocean’s Blonde (232,000), David Bowie’s Blackstar (174,000), Radiohead’s A Moon Shaped Pool (173,000) and Blink-182’s California (172,000).

Lady Gaga was in full-on promotion mode during the album’s debut week. She performed on NBC’s Saturday Night Live (Oct. 22), sat down for an interview with SiriusXM’s Howard Stern (Oct. 24), took part in James Corden’s popular “Carpool Karaoke” segment of his CBS show The Late Late Show (Oct. 25) and concluded her Bud Light-sponsored dive bar tour in Los Angeles on Oct. 27.

Also notable: Gaga is the first woman with four No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200 in the 2010s. She passes Beyonce and Taylor Swift, each with three during the decade. Among all acts, Justin Bieber and Drake lead with six Billboard 200 No. 1's each since 2010, while One Direction and Kanye West each boast four."

Thanks, Billboard. Now, just to let you know that One Direction despite being the only pop group of the 2010s to boast four number 1 albums in the US is still a small pop star much like Lady Gaga. You see, small artists like Lady Gaga and One Direction won't get much attention in the mainstream even when their streaming music did well while bigger acts like Beyonce, Taylor Swift and Drake were huge huge acts in the 2010s and notably the 21st century since its debut in 2001. That's why play it safe like radio and celebrities making music like Britney Spears is more profitable than small pop acts that performed well in the 2010s like Selena Gomez and other markets like music videos. Heck, even Lady Gaga is a small pop act because her music performed better on tv and on the internet than on radio because radio playing Lady Gaga peaked in 2008-2011. That's all. It's not really much of a bigger act.

Also, despite Joanne debut at number one during its first week, the album itself isn't selling very well. The album sales are still declining. That only people buying album sales these days is breaking records and celebrities. So I would say that Joanne might flop in just a few weeks and it will ended up not selling 1 million units in the US.

Anyway, congrats, Gaga. You earned another number 1 album.
