Kesha's Emotional Judge Issues

Hey everybody, just to let you know that 2 days ago, the commercial label primate, Kesha arrives at court to fans chanting 'free Kesha now' as she is fighting for her career as Sony is trying to force her to work with Dr. Luke. The hot millenial chick claims she is a victim of abuse at Dr. Luke's hands and refuses to work with him.

As if Kesha hasn't been through enough already:

2 days ago, a Manhattan judge ruled that despite Kesha's allegations against her producer Dr. Luke, who she says drugged and raped her when she was just 18 and has continued abusive behaviors in their woking relationship, under her contract with Sony she must keep working with him. Their reasoning? According to the Hollywood Reporter, she can't "decimate a contract that was heavily negotiated."

She's trapped: Kesha told the judge she fears for her wellbeing if she must continue working with a greedy overrated predator, but if she chooses to continue with a different producer Sony likely won't promote her music. This is evidenced by their terrible promotion of her last album, 2012's Warrior. Either way, Sony is holding her hostage in her current contract; switching to another label is not an option. Dr. Luke brings in more money, so it comes as no surprise that they're choosing to cover his and their own profits.

THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS. Kesha is now being forced to choose between her career and her emotional/physical health. Happy Friday, we live in a world where money and contracts are more important in a court of law than the wellbeing of women.

In addition, the judge rules that Kesha must continue working with abusive producer. People must free Kesha from Dr. Luke if she wanted to continue to make fresh commercial music because she's a commercial artist, not a natual artist.

But that's not enough, Kesha sobs as judge refuses to cancel contract with producer Dr. Luke who allegedly raped her in 2006. It appears that she broke into tears Friday when a Manhattan Supreme Court judge refused to let her walk away from a six-album deal with Sony — and the man she claims raped her.

The singer had sought to nullify her recording contract because it brought her into contact with super-producer Dr. Luke, whose real name is Luke Gottwald.

The 28-year-old, whose real name is Kesha Rose Sebert, claims Dr. Luke drugged her with a pill that made her black out and raped her shortly after her 18th birthday in California. He was never criminally charged.

So yesterday, another pop star Taylor Swift 250,000 to Kesha, offering support during 'trying time'.

Boy, talk about over 100,000 call for Sony boycott after Kesha ruling. Let's continue.

Sony has offered to let her work with another producer, but Kesha said she fears the company won’t promote her music as heavily if she’s not working with Dr. Luke, their biggest hitmaker.

Dozens of fans rallied outside the courthouse in support of the shellshocked singer as she emerged from the courthouse.

“Free Kesha Now! Free Kesha Now!” they chanted as the singer walked down the front steps with her entourage.

A few minutes earlier, she had hugged a weeping fan outside the courtroom.

“You don’t deserve this at all. It’s unfair,” the fan, Lindsay Scarpa, told her. So she declined to speak with reporters.

Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Shirley Kornreich said Sony would suffer irreparable harm if Kesha was not compelled to abide by a contract that requires her to make six more albums with the company.

The judge said that granting the singer’s request to nullify her deal would undermine the state’s laws governing contracts and the court couldn’t do that.

Kesha’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, argued that Sony’s promise to connect her to another producer was “illusory” because even if the recordings were made, the record company wouldn’t promote them and he contended that Sony had more invested in Dr. Luke than in Kesha and it would do everything to protect him because he makes them more money.

Kesha, in a dramatic all-white outfit seated in court next to her mother in a back row, initially looked stunned as the judge refused to issue the injunction.

Then as a tear-soaked fan in front of her started sniffling loudly, her own eyes filled with tears.

So stars like Kelly Clarkson, Lady Gaga, and Ariana Grande support Kesha after legal battle with Dr. Luke as the pop stars like Iggy Azalea send tweets to Kesha.

There are people all over the world who love you @KeshaRose. And I can say truly I am in awe of your bravery.
— Lady Gaga (@ladygaga) February 19, 2016

My heart is with @KeshaRose.
— Ariana Grande (@ArianaGrande) February 19, 2016

Im not accusing anyone of anything, but i believe Kesha deserves the ability to move forward, create and earn a living.
— IGGY AZALEA (@IGGYAZALEA) February 20, 2016

If two people dont want to be in business with one another it seems very cruel for one to hold the other in a contract.
— IGGY AZALEA (@IGGYAZALEA) February 19, 2016

FREE KESHA
— jackantonoff (@jackantonoff) February 19, 2016

Trying 2 not say anything since I can't say anything nice about a person... so this is me not talking about Dr. Luke https://t.co/lLhtUHbmgG
— Kelly Clarkson (@kelly_clarkson) February 19, 2016

I don't even know what I would do... I only hope she can find peace and find a way to continue to create express herself without fear.
— HALSEY (@halsey) February 19, 2016

Disgusted by anyone in power positions abusing their authority. My heart breaks for Kesha and all people affected by this toxicity. (Insert bad word here).
— HALSEY (@halsey) February 19, 2016

— Wale (@Wale) February 19, 2016

There's a quote, I believe from John Fogerty: "The music industry is so corrupt it makes Hollywood look like a charity organization." #Kesha
— Mara Wilson (@MaraWritesStuff) February 19, 2016

really disappointing to hear about this kesha case. no one should be denied freedom from their abuser, nor freedom of their creativity.
— ac (@alessiacara) February 19, 2016

My thoughts are with @KeshaRose today. I'm sorry you've had to endure this experience.
— lily (@lilyallen) February 19, 2016

as a female musician, it truly breaks my heart to see someone who just wanted to make music suffer so horribly. justice for kesha.
— Madison Beer (@MadisonBeer) February 19, 2016

no one deserves what Kesha is going through. #FreeKesha we all love, support you, & are here for you.
— Madison Beer (@MadisonBeer) February 19, 2016

standing with @KeshaRose through this traumatic, deeply unfair time. send good vibes her way everyone
— Lorde (@lorde) February 19, 2016

I send you love @KeshaRose
— Sara Bareilles (@SaraBareilles) February 19, 2016

Dr. Luke and Sony are also trying to dismiss the underlying case in which Kesha contends Dr. Luke abused her emotionally and psychologically for a decade

Christine Lepera, a lawyer for Dr. Luke, said in a statement that the allegations against him “were asserted solely to extort money and gain contractual leverage.”

Yesterday, Taylor Swift, has donate 250,000 dollars to Kesha offering support during 'trying time.' So Taylor Swift has to put her money behind Kesha by donating $250,000 to the "Tik Tok" singer on Sunday, two days after a judge ruled against Kesha in a case in which she asked to record music independently of producer Dr. Luke.

Since Kesha has accused Dr. Luke, who signed her to a contract in 2005, of emotional and sexual abuse. She requested an injunction to make music outside her six-album contract with Dr. Luke's Kemosabe Records.

Also chiming in: singer Demi Lovato, who started with a tweet in support of Kesha but soon started talking about empowerment in general.

#FreeKesha this is only gonna make you stronger, you brave and beautiful girl. Prayers are with you @KeshaRose
— Demi Lovato (@ddlovato) February 20, 2016

I'm also ready for self-proclaimed feminists to start speaking out or taking action for women's rights.
— Demi Lovato (@ddlovato) February 21, 2016

Women empowerment is speaking up for other women even when it's something uncomfortable to speak up about.
— Demi Lovato (@ddlovato) February 21, 2016

Women empowerment is taking action now, not when it's convenient.
— Demi Lovato (@ddlovato) February 21, 2016

Women empowerment is leading other women to make actual changes in our society.
— Demi Lovato (@ddlovato) February 21, 2016

Take something to Capitol Hill or actually speak out about something and then I'll be impressed.
— Demi Lovato (@ddlovato) February 22, 2016

"Take something to Capitol Hill or actually speak out about something and then I'll be impressed," she concluded. Demi Lovato, however, is not happy at Taylor Swift donating $250,000 dollars to Kesha as she slams Taylor Swift for donating $250k to Kesha.

According to Life and Style magazine website, Taylor Swift quietly donated $250,000 to Kesha after the 28-year-old was denied legal request to terminate a contract with a man who allegedly raped her – and Demi Lovato is not happy about it!

According to the 23-year-old, Taylor Swift should be speaking out about serious issues like these, rather than secretly showing her support.

In a series of tweets about women empowerment, Demi Lovato wrote things like, "Women empowerment is speaking up for other women even when it's something uncomfortable to speak up about," and "Women empowerment is taking action now, not when it's convenient."

She also seemingly targeted Taylor Swift writing, "Take something to Capitol Hill or actually speak out about something and then I'll be impressed."

In screenshots captured by JustJared, Demi Lovato reportedly responded to a fan on Instagram who called her out for bashing Taylor Swift and making the argument about herself.

“How the f(bleep) am I making this about myself?" she wrote. "At least I’m talking about it. Not everyone has 250k to just give to people. Would love to but I didn’t grow up with money and def haven’t made as much as her. At least I speak up about s(bleep) that’s uncomfortable to talk about rather than trying to be politically correct 24/7."

Demi Lovato is one of many celebrities who has publicly spoken out about the injustice of Kesha's court hearing. Stars like Lorde, Ariana Grande, and Lady Gaga have all tweeted in support of the singer.

But in the end, Kesha is free from Dr. Luke's lawyer to record new music.

That was nice of Taylor Swift donating money to Kesha. Although I'm not happy at Demi Lovato slams Taylor Swift for donating $250k to Kesha. I'm sure Ms. Demetria would apologize to T-Swizzle. Let's hope Kesha will finally record her third album which will contain new commercial pop music that sounds fresh and commercially.

What do you think? What are your thoughts on Kesha stuck in the court 2 days ago? Is pop divas like Lorde support Kesha? Are you happy that Taylor Swift donates $250,000 dollars to Kesha? Do you think Demi Lovato slams Taylor Swift for donating $250k to Kesha does hurt Taylor Swift's feelings? Do you think Kesha will be making new commercial music without Dr. Luke now that she's free from him? Sound off below!

Taylor Swift Won The Grammys Is Back

Swifties, we got some exciting news.

Taylor Swift brings back winning a Grammy nominations. That’s right, Taylor Swift, the rarest pop music, has won a Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Music Video for Bad Blood. It's good to have Taylor Swift winning a Grammy back. But wait, that’s not all.

Taylor Swift’s 1989 has won the Album of the Year for 1989 making 1989 the second Taylor Swift album to win an Album of the Year nomination following 2008’s Fearless won Album of the Year in 2010. I would say, congrats, Tay-Tay.

Now then, as you may know that Taylor Swift and Taylor Swift’s pop music not only misrepresent Taylor Swift’s crossover career, but Taylor Swift and Taylor Swift’s pop music also misrepresent Big Machine Records. Why? 2 things: Teardrops On My Guitar was played on pop radio and Fearless era. That’s it. The only Taylor Swift making music for other genres like country is 2006 and Tim McGraw’s Highway Don’t Care. Why can’t Taylor Swift’s music going by different genres like country? I hate Taylor Swift are pop music appearance. Taylor Swift is a pop artist appearance did scare off Taylor Swift’s crossover and other genres like country and people love Taylor Swift appearance. Poor, T-Swizzle. I’m sure she only likes the positives and not the negatives. Mean, anyone?

Anyway, it’s been 4 years ago when Taylor Swift will have to keep a track between pop music and other genres like country until Big Machine Records suggest that pop music wanted to recreate the success of Taylor Swift writes songs about boys version of pop music. So Scott Borchetta hires Max Martin and record big names producers version of pop songs like 22 (great song by the way) in other places like Sweden before she puts her pop songs like Everything Has Changed on her fourth crossover pop-country record, Red in 2012.

The result, Taylor Swift’s pop songs like I Knew You Were Trouble version of Taylor Swift’s crossover country album did misrepresent the fourth crossover country album and pop songs version of Red tracks like We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together really screwed up Taylor Swift’s music going by other genres like country. This caused the Red era unable to play her music like Begin Again on other genres like country while the critics who praised the whole album calls this pop-country album, pop and not continuing crossover music like country.

How will Taylor Swift ever gonna make a true pop records if all her pop albums sound like they could’ve come from another genre like country? So Taylor Swift got an idea. She changed her genre to pop from a different popular music genre like country and make her first Taylor Swift albums only have pop songs version of pop album. The result? 1989, Taylor Swift’s fifth album, has sold almost 1.3 million copies in the US making 1989 the rarest pop album ever spawning 6 singles, Shake It Off, Blank Space, Style, Bad Blood, Wildest Dreams, and Out Of The Woods. 1989 has the most US number ones of any US Taylor Swift number ones with 5 including Shake It Off, Blank Space, Style, Bad Blood and Wildest Dreams topping the Pop Songs chart and Shake It Off, Blank Space, and Bad Blood topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Now that’s a success. Great album by the way. Better than the messy Red album and Red’s overrated pop songs like I Knew You Were Trouble.

That’s why 1989 and its singles like Blank Space are far superior to the overrated Red era like I Knew You Were Trouble. I’ll take 1989 over Red anyday. If Taylor Swift wanted to stay pop, she has to try something new because she never make the same album twice. Anyway, congratulations, Taylor Swift. You've earned a Grammy nomination. I'm proud of you. If you want to continue to make different experiments of pop music, be your guest.

Why is Taylor Swift gonna do now? How about taking a break from making a studio album and make a 10th anniversary singles collection this year and have all non-pop music like country music moved to pop music and turned them into pop songs. That would be something that Taylor Swift will look forward too. Taylor Swift is not a thing in the past. She needs to stay.

What do you think? Are you happy that Taylor Swift has won a Grammy for Album of the Year? Sound off below!

Mini-Rant: Justin Bieber Will Be Performing At The 2016 Grammys

Hello, everyone. Sorry for not enough update on my blog. Well then, I'm here now. With the 2016 Grammy Awards coming tomorrow night I just want you to know that I have made the list of the performers, collaborations, tribute, and other acts that will be performing at the 2016 Grammys.

And here they are...

Here's the lst of the 2016 Grammy Awards performers:

James Bay and Tori Kelly
Justin Bieber and Jack Ü (Diplo and Skrillex)
Andra Day and Ellie Goulding
Pitbull, Travis Barker and Robin Thicke
Sam Hunt and Carrie Underwood
Chris Stapleton, Gary Clark Jr. and Bonnie Raitt
Luke Bryan, John Legend, Demi Lovato, Meghan Trainor and Lionel Richie
Eagles with Jackson Browne
Lady Gaga (who will be singing something by David Bowie, in tribute to the recently deceased rocker)
Hollywood Vampires with Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp and Joe Perry
Adele
Alabama Shakes
Joey Alexander
Broadway's “Hamilton” Cast
Kendrick Lamar
Little Big Town
Miguel
Rihanna
Taylor Swift
The Weeknd

Woah, woah, woah...

Wait a minute, hold on a second...

Justin Bieber? What? Why is Justin Bieber performing at the 2016 Grammys? First of all, who is the Grammys 2016's idea to put Justin Bieber on the list of performers where not only Carrie Underwood gets to a duet with country music's Sam Hunt, but also The Weeknd's and Tori Kelly's first Grammys performance? Second, why is Justin Bieber performing at the 2016 Grammy Awards but not something like Britney Spears? No, Britney Spears could've been a Grammy performers because she's a mainstream big name pop star and yet is not performing at the 2016 Grammy Awards. What's wrong with you, 2016 Grammys?

This is why I don't trust music awards because America is blinded with money and only putting in repeats and changes to the mainstream so America businesses gets to make money. Why, today's America, why? I want my America is great appearance back.

Stupid Justin Bieber for ruining the list the 2016 Grammy performers.

Lady Gaga Will Be Performing At The Super Bowl

With Super Bowl reaching its 50th performance tomorrow, it appears that Lady Gaga will be performing at the Super Bowl 50 following Beyonce and Coldplay.

Last year, Katy Perry performed at the 49th Super Bowl with Lenny Kravitz and Missy Elliott and so far her 13-minute Super Bowl performance has reached 118.5 million viewers making her halftime show the most-watch in Super Bowl history, according to Nielsen data. Bruno Mars performed his halftime Super Bowl show 2 years ago as the previous record-holder. But his 2014 show was topped by Katy Perry's 2015 performance.

This year, Lady Gaga will be performing her 2016 Super Bowl noational anthem tomorrow night alongside Beyonce, Coldplay and now Bruno Mars where Bruno Mars, along with Beyonce and Coldplay, will be perfomring his halftime performance together. Sounds like a good plan. Especially  with Lady Gaga performing a national anthem and Bruno Mars performing his halftime show with Beyonce and Coldplay.

Inattiona, Beyonce and Coldplay won't get paid. So that's good because money ruined successes. Successes should go by popularity and support, not money.

Let's hope Lady Gaga will perform her Super Bowl national anthem so she can garner more attention this year. That way, Lady Gaga will be ready to release her fourth album this year and hopefully she will do fine unlike 3 years ago's Artpop. Duh.

What are your thoughts on Lady Gaga performing her national anthem at the Super Bowl 50? Let me know in the comments section!

MTV Live: A Game Changer For Rock Music And Live Performances?

Hey guys, I got some big news.

Remember Palladia from 2008-2015? Well then, it seems that Paladdia is no more. Yesterday was the last day of Paladdia. Today, Paladdia is repleaced by a new MTV series channel called MTV Live. What I'm saying, what MTV Live? You'll find out.

Now then here's what Billboard has to say about MTV Live. Shall we?

"MTV Relaunches Palladia as MTV Live
2/1/2016 by Billboard Staff

MTV is plugging more music back into its programming with the return of MTV Live.

Viacom’s high-definition music network Palladia today (Feb. 1) relaunches as MTV Live, a move the broadcaster says is a step towards “aligning all core music properties under the MTV brand.”

The network has a new logo (see above), look and feel, according to MTV. A slate of documentaries and films on David Bowie, Radiohead, Jay Z, Pink and others are lined up for its first week.

MTV launched its original music-based programming channel Music High Definition (MHD) in 2006. Two years later, the channel changed its name to Palladia. Palladia hosted such specials as the HD simulcasts of the MTV Europe Music Awards, MTV Video Music Awards, CMT Music Awards and VH1 Hip Hop Honors.

Below is the full MTV Live first-week lineup:
Feb. 1 -- P!nk: The Truth About Love Tour (9:00pm ET)--
Feb. 2 -- Front and Center: Alt- J (Network Premiere)  (9:00pm ET)
Feb. 3 -- Best of Austin City Limits: Radiohead (Network Premiere) (9:00pm ET)
Feb. 4 -- Live from Daryl’s House: Joe Walsh (9:00pm ET)
           -- Later…With Jools Holland (10:00pm ET)
Feb. 5 -- Jay-Z: Made in America (9:00pm ET)
Feb. 6 -- David Bowie: Five Years  (9:00pm ET)"

Thanks, Billboard. As you may know that MTV Live is a new MTV series channel that focus on live tours along with music videos. Come to think of MTV Live, this could be the game changer for both rock music like Foo Fighters and live tours like Pink tours. Seriously, come to think of MTV Live. It looks like there's no more popular music channels as Paladdia is the only popular music channel. MTV Live is a mainstream music channel featuring mainstream music live tours like rock music tours plus music videos like Tori Kelly music videos. This could be a step forward for both MTV and mainstream music because this is mainstream music, not popular music.

With MTV Live, this will be a game changer for MTV's music department because all people listening to music does these days is radio/live tours and the only songs you hear on radio and tours these days is singles and celebrities. Music should do more than just singles/celebrities/radio/live tours. Whatever happened to tv channels like MTV airing music videos/people buying albums/rock music/people listening to music going by the internet? This is why MTV needs to think about music like music videos, not junk programming like reality shows and movies. You hear me, MTV? We want more music like live tours and please make an MTV streaming music service too.

What do you think? Are excited for MTV Live? Do you think MTV Live is a game changer for MTV playing music and rock music? Do you think MTV Live is a step forward for both MTV and live music performance? Do you think MTV Live will be headed towards MTV's direction for MTV's music department? Sound off below!
