Katy Perry To Release Her Next Album By 2016

Hey guys, I just want you to know that Katy Perry is making a new album which will be coming out in 2016. Now, here's what radioandmusic.com has to say about this.

"SINGAPORE: 'I Kissed A Girl' and 'Dark Horse' singer Katy Perry loves India, and would love to come back to the country. The singer apparently plans to come to India during the world tour of her next album, which is expected to release sometime in 2016.

According to Direct Management partner Steven Jensen, who is also famously known as manager for Perry and also former ‘American Idol’ finalist Adam Lambert, “She loves India and she would like to come to India. She plans to release her next album by 2016, so we hope to bring her to India after that.”

Nice, it looks like Katy Perry's manager, Steven Johnson, spoke to reporters at the All That Matters music conference in Singapore last week, saying "[Perry] plans to release her next album by 2016."

It looks like Katy Perry is slowing down a bit after releasing her 2013 album, Prism, we are now hearing that the Roar singer may not be slowing down at all (hooray), instead opting to release another new album that may come as soon as December!!

In addition, Katy Perry's 2016 album is gonna be about Taylor Swift. Lol. It looks like Katy Perry is about to take revenge on Taylor Swift for taking a swipe on her in the recent Bad Bloo music video (which gained 20.1 million views on Vevo in the first 24 hours) as she fights back after Bad Blood. Katy Perry's next album will be release by 2016 which means that 2016 would be a perfect date for the next Katy Perry album. Sounds like publicity attacking ads is what pop music sells these days. Shame on you Katy. This is why I don't trust public. Public is dominating creativity. Bring back creativity, mainstream. I'm sick of mainstream going by general public.

Anyway, Katy Perry's fans, Katy Cats, will be ready to take on the next Katy Perry album which is coming 2016. Now, here's my guess on the next Katy Perry album for 2016. Remember her 2001 debut album, Katy Hudson? It appears that according to Wikipedia, it incorporates primarily Christian rock and contemporary Christian music elements with lyrical themes of adolescence and childhood and Hudson's faith in God. I would like to see Katy Perry going back to exploring Christian rock and contemporary Christian music and mix with pop. How about Christian pop music instead of more generic Max Martin pop singles. As she is turning 31, it's time for her to try different experiments of pop music and bringing back Christian rock music as her next album's music for 2016. So how about mixing contemporary Christian rock with pop music and voila, Christian pop music.

Of course, Katy Perry isn't the only pop star that should make contemporary Christian pop music, Carrie Underwood should do that too because Carrie Underwood needs to move away from country music and make contemporary Christian pop music. That would be so awesome. Doesn't it? Anyway, I think Katy Perry should collaborate with Carrie Underwood for another Katy Perry collabo and it can make a 2016 Katy Perry single. Make it happen, Katy Perry. Bring me a Katy Perry single featuring Carrie Underwood for a 2016 single.

Why I think contemporary Christian pop music instead of more Max Martin pop singles on the next album is a good idea? For starters, Katy Perry needs to stop working with Max Martin and try something new. She needed to go in a new direction by brining back contemporary Christian music and mixed her returning contemporary Christian music with pop rock and voila, a Katy Perry contemporary Christian rock/pop rock album for 2016. Sounds like a good experiment. I'm looking forward to hear the next Katy Perry album for 2016. No more Max Martin please.

Are you exciting for a 2016 Katy Perry album? Do you want to see Carrie Underwood featured in a future Katy Perry single? Do you think Katy Perry's next album is the return of contemporary Christian music and Christian rock mixing with pop rock instead of generic Max Martin pop singles? Is it possible that the next album is about Taylor Swift? Share you thoughts below!
