Taylor Swift Songs I'd Like To See In The 1989 World Tour

Hello everyone, I hope you are going to see Taylor Swift's 1989 World Tour concert this year. It appears that most of the tickets were sold out. Now, as you may notice that 1989 has already started in Japan on May 5. So the third tour is gonna be a US tour on May 20 in Bossier City with performance by Vance Joy. The first 2 tours are from Japan in Tokyo on May 5-6. Nice, now then, let's take a look at the setlist for The 1989 World Tour. Shall we?

Now, according to Wikipedia, the following setlist is from her performance on May 5, 2015, in Tokyo, Japan; this setlist may vary in the tour's other shows. Taylor Swift also performed remixes of her pre-1989 songs which includes Love Story, I Knew You Were Trouble and We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together, as well as a mash-up of Enchanted (from Speak Now, a fan favorite Taylor Swift album from 2010) and Wildest Dreams. You Are in Love was performed as an acoustic number.

1. Welcome to New York
2. New Romantics
3. Blank Space
4. I Knew You Were Trouble (from Red)
5. I Wish You Would
6. How You Get the Girl
7. I Know Places
8. All You Had to do Was Stay
9. You Are in Love
10. Clean
11. Love Story (from Fearless)

14. Bad Blood
15. We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together (from Red)
16. Enchanted (from Speak Now)/Wildest Dreams
17. Out of the Woods
18. Shake It Off

There you go, those are the songs that will be in The 1989 World Tour's setlist. Now just to let you know that her country songs like Our Song as well as her previous pop songs like 22 do not appear on this list. So let's talk about the songs that could work well in The 1989 World Tour. These songs like Teardrops On My Guitar can make great requests if any of the songs like Fifteen is not on this setlist.

With The 1989 World Tour arriving in the US on May 20, I thought I'd list some Taylor Swift songs that I'd particularly like to see in The 1989 World Tour soon...

22 - Yes, give us 22. 22 is such a wonderful song. I regret the song is pop, not country. It would've been nice if 22 needs more attention. Let's hope Taylor Swift add 22 to her setlist in select tours just to play it safe.

Mine - Mine is a wonderful song since 5 years ago and I loved this music video where she looks hot in the Maine setting. This might be the reason Taylor Swift's first 3 albums were great. Especially Speak Now. So let's have Taylor Swift performed this pop rock remix of this 2010 hit in The 1989 World Tour and show her who's the boss of this tour.

The Story Of Us - We need more pop rock Taylor Swift songs. So how about The Story Of Us in a nice hard rock remix.

Better Than Revenge - Oh yes, bring back Better The Revenge for The 1989 World Tour. We want Taylor Swift's hard rock remixes of her country hits like The Outside. So let's give this one a chance.

Mean - Why is Taylor Swift gotta be so mean? She perform Mean in Speak Now and Red tours. So how about performing a remix of Mean with an electric guitar replacing a banjo and a bass replacing a violin. Make it happen, Taylor Swift.

Cold As You - How about Cold As You in an alternative rock/soft rock performance. Plus, it's a win win for Taylor Swift's country music attracting pop music listeners.

Sparks Fly - Just like Mean, Sparks Fly needs to perform at The 1989 World Tour with a nice hard rock remix.

Change - Taylor Swift's first true pop single, Change from 2008. I want to see Change coming back since she changed her music career to pop nowadays. So Change fits nicely for this tour.

Both Of Us - B.O.B.'s hit single from 2012. I think Taylor Swift might performing her own cover of B.O.B.'s Both Of Us where Taylor Swift gets to do her own rapping. Taylor Swift needs to tackle new genres like hip-hop and RnB.

You Belong With Me - I was surprising that You Belong With Me did not make it in The 1989 World Tour's setlist. So here's my advice, bring back You Belong With Me and have this song to be remixed for this tour in a pop rock mix in it.

Tim McGraw - The one that started it all from 2006. Plus, the song is turning 10 next year. So let's have this one to be performed in this tour. Plus, this country song would be perfect for a pop rock/hard rock remix in The 1989 World Tour.

White Horse - Yes, White Horse for The 1989 World Tour please! Plus, White Horse can make a fine pop rock remix for the 1989 tour.

Teardrops On My Guitar - Taylor Swift's first crossover single, Teardrops On My Guitar, is perfect for the 1989 tour. In addition, Taylor Swift should remix this one in an 80s pop rock style.

Picture To Burn - Oh yes, Picture To Burn, baby! In fact, Picture To Burn fits nicely in this tour where she gets to perform a hard rock remix of this song. Make it happen, Taylor Swift.

Tied Together With A Smile -  Another non-single classic for 2006's self-titled album. It would be cool if this one can be remixed in this tour with a touch of pop rock instead of country.

Should've Said No - This can make a great addition to Taylor Swift's 1989 tour setlist as a bonus. It would be cool if she can perform her hard rock remix of this country song with an electric guitar instead of banjos and violins.

Sweeter Than Fiction - The only 2013 Taylor Swift song that works perfectly on this tour thanks to the song's 80s remix.

Highway Don't Care - This would be perfect for 1989 tour since Taylor Swift was featured in Tim McGraw's number 1 country hit of 2013. Highway Don't Care is a perfect Tim McGraw song for Taylor Swift's fans to hear in the pop world. It would be cool if Taylor Swift gets to do her hard rock cover of Highway Don't Care.

Our Song - We need more Our Song in this tour. We want Taylor Swift to perform Our Song's alternative rock remix. Plus, that song is great for The 1989 World Tour too.

Safe & Sound - What if Taylor Swift perform an alternative rock remix of Safe & Sound, then this will be a win to her career and her fans.

Fifteen - I love Fifteen and I want this song to come back in the 1989 tour. Let's have Taylor Swift perform her pop rock remix of Fifteen and that will make audiences cry.

Stay Stay Stay - We want this one to stay, stay, stay in this tour. Since all Taylor Swift's country songs like I'm Only Me When I'm With You will be remixed in pop rock/alternative rock, Stay Stay Stay is a great choice.

Red - I want to see Taylor Swift performing her alternative rock remix of Red since this performance is perfect for the 1989 tour.

Fearless - Yes, I want Fearless on The 1989 World Tour, please!

Mary's Song - Another Taylor Swift's country song from her first album from 2006 would be perfect for The 1989 World Tour. Make it happen!

Long Live - Yes, a hard rock remix of Long Live for The 1989 World Tour please!

Forever And Always - Excellent choice for The 1989 World Tour. Let's have Forever And Always's pop rock/alternative rock remix to be performed in this stage.

Stay Beautiful - Definitely must "Stay Beautiful" with this one for this tour. Have T-Swizzle perform this acoustic guitar pop mix of this country song from 2006. Then fans will love it.

State Of Grace - State Of Grace + The 1989 World Tour = Epic Win!

Eyes Open - Yes, Eyes Open for 1989 setlist. She must perform a hard rock remix of this song. That would be nice.

Ours - Here's one of my favorites, Ours. I would like Taylor Swift to perform her pop rock remix one of her non-crossover country songs. That way, it will get more attention. Don't you think?

Begin Again - Here's a good Taylor Swift single that would be perfect for the setlist. Have Taylor Swift perform an acoustic rock remix of Begin Again with a nice touch of alternative rock. Give us more, Begin Again.

All Too Well - Here's a good one, have Taylor Swift replace a piano with an electric guitar and now you have a kick butt country song ready to perform.

The Best Day - Since Taylor Swift's mom, Andrea Finlay couldn't make it, have this song performed just to make her mom proud.

Back To December - Another fan favorite Speak Now single that could work so well for the 1989 tour. Plus, this song would be perfect for the pop rock remix too.
