Miley Cyrus Is Dissing Taylor Swift

Uh oh, did Miley Cyrus diss Taylor Swift after Miley Cyrus thrash Taylor Swift’s Bad Blood music video? Well then, let’s find out.

It appears that Miley Cyrus is annoyed that Taylor Swift hasn’t responded to her big diss in Marie Claire so she’s planning a whopper of a slam at the MTV VMAs in 11 days. So Taylor Swift has no other choice but to react to on live TV.

First, Taylor Swift slams Spotify after includes new details about the back story of her now-famous open letter to Apple, calling upon the media giant to pay artists, writers, and producers royalties during the three-month free trial period of their new music-streaming platform, the nature of the response was very different from Taylor Swift’s op-ed in The Wall Street Journal last summer, in which she called out Spotify, while Spotify ignored her demands, Apple did an about face less than 24 hours later.

Then, Miley Cyrus slams Taylor Swift’s Bad Blood music video claiming that Miley Cyrus calls out the 'Bad Blood' music video, claiming gun violence is much worse than her naked photos on Instagram.

Now, let me guess… Miley Cyrus fights Taylor Swift after Miley Cyrus hates positives and only likes negative where Taylor Swift only likes positives. If Avril Lavigne sees this, she’s gonna be upset. So let’s continue.

Now, according to HollywoodLife, Miley Cyrus has something up her sleeve for when she hosts the 2015 MTV VMAs and it’s not going to be pretty. The singer is so over Taylor Swift and her goodie goodie image that she is “dead set” on slamming Taylor Swift at the show, according to HollywoodLife.com insider. Taylor Swift is nominated in several categories and will be in the audience and have no where to hide from Miley Cyrus - oh no! Let’s hope Taylor Swift would be OK after she tells Miley Cyrus to stop dissing Taylor Swift. General public needs to stop dominating music scene by putting in nothing but repeats like pop music and radio. Now, here’s what HollywoodLife has to say about this.

“Miley is dead set on providing a MTV VMA’s that people won’t stop talking about,” HollywoodLife says. “She’ll be outrageous, funny and really push the envelope as long as it shocks people. Taylor is by far her biggest target and Miley is thinking of ways to subtly diss her. She loves the controversy and is upset that Taylor hasn’t said anything about it. There is bound to be sparks between the two of them that night.” It all started when Miley slammed Taylor’s Bad Blood video for being too violent in Marie Claire: “I don’t get the violence revenge thing. That’s supposed to be a good example? And I’m a bad role model because I’m running around with my titties out? I’m not sure how titties are worse than guns.”

But HollywoodLife tells us that Miley Cyrus wasn’t trying to be mean: “The tone of what Miley said to Marie Claire was not meant to be insulting to Taylor. Miley was just being honest like she always is. She was saying she gets in trouble for showing her breasts and yet there is violence in another artist’s video. She was making a point but there was no ill will towards Taylor and she doesn’t hate her. She was not addressing Taylor herself, just the double standard of the video,” a source told Us Weekly.

“[Miley] thinks Taylor is a truly remarkable artist, and doesn’t want her comments reflecting her thoughts about what she thinks of Taylor,” adds the source. “In truth, she believes Taylor is a remarkable artist that should be celebrated for her work. She just felt that the video was in incredibly bad taste and by having all these stars advocating that, it sends out the wrong signal. Miley is a very outwardly sexual person, but she’s a hippie at heart and hates all things violent. She preaches peace to all her pals and loved ones, and that’s just how she likes it.”

Thanks, HollywoodLife. I think today, there are two kinds of styles for music: The naturalistic kind, like Taylor Swift's, which make me think of something like Rihanna or Katy Perry. So artists like Avril Lavigne, Kelly Clarkson, Pink, Eminem, Ed Sheeran, Ariana Grande, Little Mix, Carrie Underwood, Selena Gomez, Demi Loavto, Linkin Park, Nickelback, and so on, for me, look real but also look musically… But you still feel what's going on, you can immerse yourself in the music's setting. The other kind is definitely more commercialistic, the likes of Miley Cyrus, Britney Spears, Usher, Michael Jackson, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Jay Z, Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, Justin Timberlake, Ciara, Drake, Lil Wayne and so on go this route. These artists like Christain Aguilera still have a naturalistic sheen to them.

So let’s talk about comparing Taylor Swift’s Mean and Miley Cyrus’s We Can’t Stop. Mean to me is far superior to We Can’t Stop. Mean is very country and yet Taylor Swift friendly. Mean is a perfect country single for Speak Now’s singles 4 years ago and it worked well. Great lyrics. Powerful message and the music video even gets to air on MTV last year tying in to the release of 1989. Overall, fantastic Taylor Swift single and I highly recommended to any Swiftie.

We Can’t Stop on the other hand is a huge mess and yet it gained more views than the far superior Mean on Vevo. I guess people in America hates good music and only likes bad music just to make money. I mean, why America hates positives and negatives is better? I hate America negatives are better than America positives. Stupid America. Anyway, let’s continue. We Can’t Stop trumps Avril Lavigne’s hilarious but poorly promoted Here’s To Never Growing Up. Assuming that 2010s music hates Avril Lavigne’s bratty songs like Hello Kitty and only appeals Avril Lavigne-less music like Ariana Grande. Why can’t 2010s music pay attention to 2010s Avril Lavigne like Fly? I guess 2010s is not a good decade for Avril Lavigne especially bratty songs like What The Hell ruined her career and her number 1 singles at the same time. 2010s music also hates 2010s country like Little Toy Guns. I mean, why music hates Avril Lavigne and country music? Why, music these days? Let’s continue. We Can’t Stop peaked at number 2 on Billboard Hot 100 and debut at number 1 on ITunes. Good thing it’s not a US number 1 single despite the song debut at number 1 on ITunes. So yay. It’s not a US number 1 Billboard single. I hate US number 1s go by radio. Why can't US number 1s go by important projects? Important projects are better singles for number 1s than radio. Unfortunately, it gained more than 589 million views on Vevo surpassing Mean’s over 115 million views on Vevo and the song played more than 159 times on Spotify. Stupid We Can’t Stop. I prefer Taylor Swift’s Shake It Off over that dreadful We Can’t Stop.

Alrighty then, let’s hope Taylor Swift gets to record her 2015 single about positives only with Calvin Harris. That way, Taylor Swift will take on revenge over Miley Cyrus by putting in more positives. Music needs positives, not repeats like radio.

What do you think? Do you think Miley Cyrus should stop dissing Taylor Swift? Sound off below!
