Now, just to let you know that Drag Me Down was released worldwide on July 31, 2015 an it’s a single for their fifth studio album. Written by Jami Scott, John Ryan and Julian Bunetta, the song is produced by the latter two. The song will be performed live for the first time at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana on July 31, 2015.
This morning on Good Morning America, One Direction performed Drag me Down live. In addition, Drag Me Down sold more than 300,000 digital copies within the first day of its release and the song also debut at the top spot of Spotify’s worldwide streaming chart, receiving over 3 million listens in its first day of availability.
I’m really exciting for more One Direction. Unfortunately,
US music don’t seem to care about one Direction since One Direction only have 2
US number 1s (What Makes You Beautiful and Story Of my Life). But hey, One
Directions massive fanbase and the internet has backed up on the group for a
smart reason. Also, the post Zayn Malik era looked promising and it will be
better than with Zayn Malik. I’m definitely looking forward for more One
Direction.
