Alicia Keys Is Making A Common Comeback

That's right. After Alicia Keys gave birth to her another child, she is back for a new comeback single, In Common.

Now, as you may know that In Common is was written by Alicia Keys, Illangelo, Tayla Parks and Billy Walsh, and produced by Illangelo. It was a departure from her R& sound despite she's an R&B artist. The single will have a "tropical music and dancehall sound, with Latin beat, Afrobeat instrumental, collage of electronic beats, tropicalia-infused rhythms and icy drum patterns as its main instrumentation. Keys uses a hushed tone during the track. Lyrically, "In Common" talks about a dysfunctional kind of love story, and how the partners are similar, despite their faults. The song received critical acclaim from critics, who considered it a catchy and hypnotic single, while being labelled a possible summer hit. The song's accompanying music video was shot in black-and-white and released on May 20, 2016. It features Keys grooving on a fire escape alongside dancers of all ages and races. Keys gave the first televised performance of the track on Saturday Night Live and later at the UEFA Champions League Final.", according to Wikipedia. Wow, talk about a common comeback. Let's continue.

"After the success of her fifth studio album, Girl on Fire (2012), Alicia Keys took a break and in 2014 announced she was expecting her second child with husband Swizz Beatz. In September 2014, Keys released "We Are Here", a song about social justice that at the time was announced as the lead-single of her upcoming sixth studio album by Billboard. In the same year, Keys confirmed production by her husband, producer Swizz Beatz, and Pharrell Williams, revealing the album was almost done.", Wikipedia replied, "However, in July 2015, Keys released "28 Thousand Days", a song that she dedicated to her husband and that was released to Levi's ad campaign. In an interview for Vogue magazine, in late 2015, Keys revealed that the album would only be released in early 2016. After teasing new music in April, and performing it at the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival in the same month, the singer released "In Common" on May 4, 2016. It was simultaneously released to digital download on iTunes, Google Play and Amazon, and streaming on Spotify, as well as YouTube."

Nice, I'm so exicted to hear Alicia Keys's 2016 single which came out last month and so far, In Common is heavily influenced by tropical music, as well as dancehall, having a Latin beat. Can you say Latin music? Lol. Let's move on.

Plus, the upcoming sixth album which Alicia Keys will be releasing along with In Common is a very smart plan to tie in to the 15th anniversary of the debut single, Songs In A Minor and its lead single, Fallin. Sounds like a smart plan for the whole summer. 2 years ago, Alicia Keys released her 2 singles from 2014, It's On Again featuring Kendrick Lamar (the same person who featured in Taylor Swift's Bad Blood remix) and We Are Here. So this year, we have In Common. Let's hope this this song will be an R&B hit because Alicia Keys is an R&B veteran during the last 15 years since 2001. Boy, times do fly fast. Especially with early 2000s from 2000-2003 was nostalgia. Boy do I love the new millennium's first 4 years? Let's not forget that Alicia Keys is hot. She has a nice butt and she have a nice belly button because she's hot. Yes, she is hot. I hope this song will do well on the radio.

What do you think?
