Katy Perry Has Postpone Her Witness Tour And Blames This

On August 17th, Katy Perry went on her Instagram on August 16th to deliver some good news and bad news to fans. But first, the bad news. Bad news sucks, but it’s always better when it comes with some good news as well.

As Katy Perry gears up for her Witness World Tour, she went on Instagram on August 16th to share some updates with fans. I always prefer to hear the bad news before the good news so the bad news the pop singer shared is that she has to postpone the tour. She wrote QUOTE - "Due to unavoidable production delays, major elements of my tour stage design could not be available for me to rehearse on until this week. I'll be spending the next few weeks taking the time to properly prepare the show to be an experience I am proud to share with you. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this causes, but hope everyone who sees the show will agree it was worth the wait." What does that mean? Well let’s continue.

The tour was originally scheduled to begin on September 7th in Columbus, but will now begin on September 19th in Montreal but she acknowledged the inconvenience by sending emails to the fans in the cities where the show dates were rescheduled saying - "To my wonderful fans in Buffalo, I'm very sorry that we could not find a rescheduled date that worked. If possible, I would love to see you in Toronto." So not the worst news in the world, but kinda sucks if you had tickets for one of the postponed shows.” That kinda sucks. Let’s continue.

But turn that frown upside down because there’s still good news! Katy Perry also announced that three special guests will be joining her on tour including Noah Cyrus, Purity Ring, and Carly Rae Jepsen. Noah Cyrus will be with her September 19-Nov 1st, Purity Ring November 7th through December 20th, and Carly Rae Jepsen January 5th through February 5th. So alls well that ends well. Imagine that. Let’s hope Katy Perry will be hosting the MTV VMAs this Sunday and see if she does it all. Good luck, KP.

What do you think? Are you disappointed that Katy Perry has postponed her Witness Tour? Sound off below!
